By five o’clock, the event finally wrapped up.
Feeling unwell, Sherilyn wanted to head back to rest immediately.
However, she received a message from Blake, asking her to come to the green room afterward; he had something to discuss.

“How about considering signing with my studio?”
Sherilyn was taken aback, “Your studio?”
“Yes,” Blake said. “Your last project is about to go live, and a new one is about to start filming. You’re officially in this industry now. Haven’t you thought about needing a team?” This was something Sherilyn hadn’t considered.
“Or is it…” Blake speculated, “Mr. Harrison has plans for you?”
He was referring to Gilbert.
“No!” Sherilyn quickly clarified, but how could she explain her relationship with Gilbert?
“Me and him…”
Blake chuckled, waving a hand dismissively, You don’t need to explain your situation to me. But since Mr Harrison hasn’t made arrangements, perhaps consider signing with me? I can secure resources, and with your talents, I believe we could have a successful partnership.”
Sherilyn didn’t doubt this.
Blake had introduced her to the industry, and her current opportunities were all due to him.
However, this was a significant decision, and she felt hesitant and uncertain.
Blake didn’t press for an immediate answer, “Take your time to think it over and let me know.” “Alright, Blake.” Sherilyn exhaled with relief, “I’ll head off then.”
“Go on.”
As she left the venue, the sun had not yet set, but Sherilyn couldn’t help shivering from the chill.
Not wanting to delay any further, she hailed a cab, planning to take some
night’s sleep once she got home.
