Nodding, Sherilyn held her hand firmly, “Yes, we’ve met again. Tell me, what’s wrong?”
Glancing nervously around, the woman whispered, “I don’t know these people! They’re after me, and I’m scared…”

Sherilyn looked towards Gilbert and then patted the woman’s hand, “I’ll stay with you, okay?”
“Yes, yes!” The woman didn’t hesitate, nodding eagerly and snuggling closer to Sherilyn.
“Let’s go.” Leading her gently upstairs, a maid guided them to a bedroom.
Sherilyn helped the woman sit on a couch, fetched a brush, and started tidying her tangled hair into a neat fishtail braid.
Noticing the woman’s face was grimy, as if she’d brushed against something dirty, a maid promptly offered a wet towel. Sherilyn cleaned the woman’s face, revealing her true beauty underneath the grime. Sherilyn couldn’t help but gasp; the woman was stunning… and bore a striking resemblance to Gilbert.

“Good.”
Sherilyn watched her eat. Despite her mental state, the woman’s manners were calm and refined.
The meal included some medicated food prepared by the doctor. After eating, the woman grew tired. Sherilyn helped her to bed, and soon, she was asleep.
After making sure she was comfortable, Sherilyn closed the curtains and left the room. Downstairs.
“I’m taking her with me!”
