Gilbert let out a derisive snort, his eyes brimming with disdain. “Do you think I care?”
“Why wouldn’t you?” Naylor was puzzled. “Isn’t your goal to leave me with nothing? To take away everything that’s mine?”
He spread his arms wide, his voice filled with frustration. “You could take it all effortlessly!”
Gilbert frowned, warning him, “When that happens, you’ll be left with nothing, out on the street!”
“I don’t care!” Naylor’s eyes sparkled with determination. “As long as the Harrison legacy continues, I don’t care!”
“You’re crazy!” Gilbert clenched his jaw, questioning Naylor’s sanity.
“Damn it!”
Naylor was getting desperate. “I know that with your abilities, you’ll never have to worry about making a living. You’re still young. In time, you could build your own business empire…”
