Suddenly, his expression froze, his body tensed up. He blurted out, “It’s Naylor!”
“What?” Francis blinked in surprise.
Hearing his brother say this, doubt clouded his mind, “Him? Why? What on earth is he up to?”
“No idea!”
Dark clouds seemed to swirl on Gilbert’s handsome face as he smirked bitterly, “The man’s a lunatic! Can normal people even fathom his thoughts? But this situation, saying it’s got nothing to do with him? Impossible!”
Sherilyn and Caroline were both kidnapped, and the location Naylor gave them was all mixed up!
Following that, a massive fire broke out in the Easthaven Dock at the Harrison family’s warehouse!
“It’s Naylor! It has to be him!”
Gilbert’s lips pressed together tightly, a glint of hatred in his eyes. “I’m going to confront him now, settle this once and for all!”
With a flick of his arm, he turned and stormed off.
“Gilbert!”
Francis couldn’t stop his brother, his brow furrowed deeply, sighing inwardly: Could Gilbert really never break free from the Harrison family’s grasp?

Gilbert never imagined, after more than a decade, that he’d return here! To him, this place was akin to a personal hell!

A kettle was whistling on the stove next to the tea table.
Naylor was in front of a pot of ‘Evergreen Bliss,’ meticulously wiping its leaves with a damp cloth.
“Mr. Harrison.”
Nolan approached, carrying a document envelope, nodding at Naylor.
“Got the results?” Naylor nodded, extending his hand, “Give it here.”
Nolan handed him the sealed envelope, “Just arrived.”
Naylor took it, and Nolan immediately offered a letter opener.

Naylor opened the envelope carefully, unhurriedly.

Naylor’s eyes flickered, a barely noticeable smile crossing his lips as he closed his eyes briefly. “Well, well.” His voice lifted in evident joy.
Nolan caught the mood, leaning in to see, and his face lit up, “Mr. Harrison, congratulations! Mr. Nine, he’s truly Mr. Nine now! You finally have a worthy successor!”
A look of pleasure crossed Naylor’s face as he raised an eyebrow.
Indeed.
Throughout his life, having fathered six sons and three daughters, his children had started to provide him with grandchildren.
Yet, despite the multitude of descendants, not one had shown true promise!

Just as Naylor was about to give an order, the butler arrived.

He instructed the butler, “Let Mr. Nine in!”

Nolan chuckled, “You and Mr. Nine, must be telepathically connected as father and son.”
“Ha ha…” Naylor laughed heartily at the thought.
