Sherilyn glanced back at Rebecca, “Grandma, I’m going to take my friend upstairs first. She’s blind and needs some extra help.” “Oh?”
Sylvia looked over at Rebecca, noting, “She seems like a fine and bright young woman… Go ahead. I’ll wait for you.” “Alright.”
Sherilyn let go and walked over to Rebecca, linking arms with her, “Rebecca, let’s head up.”
“Sure.”
Rebecca ‘looked’ toward Sylvia, “Mrs. Johnson, I apologize for the inconvenience.”

Watching their retreating figures, Sylvia sighed softly, “Such a polite girl, it’s a shame…” So young, and blind.

“Sophia has Jenna to care for, and you’re heading to the hospital…
consider you a friend; I don’t want to be a burden at a time like this.”
She was talking about real concerns.
