Evelina turned into a smile, “Promise? Pinky swear!”
Lucian looked at Evelina fondly, wishing Lemira could be as understanding.
He said, “You need to focus on your studies, stop having classmates do your homework.”
Evelina’s face stiffened slightly, “I know I was wrong.”
“As long as you learn from your mistakes.”
Lucian appreciated Evelina’s apologetic demeanor and wished Lemira could take a leaf out of her book.
Back in class, Lemira noticed that Wendy’s seat was empty, but she felt no sympathy.
