The teacher couldn’t stand it anymore, “Did Judy come?”
That was when a plain-looking middle-aged couple approached, their eyes shrewd, “Judy admitted to cheating. She was too ashamed to come to school and ran away. We’re here to apologize on her behalf.”
Something felt off to Lemira upon hearing this. She glanced at Evelina secretly, whose expression remained unnervingly calm, as if she had anticipated all of this. Was what happened to Wendy repeating?
