Olivia observed Ethan’s hesitation and decided to cut to the chase. “Mr. Jackson, I’ll leave the debt settlement to you. No need for further discussion. Goodbye”
With that, Olivia turned and departed with effortless grace.
Ethan’s gare lingered on her departing figure, his eyes simmering with resentment.

Setting his business aside momentarily. Ethan headed straight for Harry’s residence.
Upon entering. Ethan couldn’t contain his agitation. “Harry, we’re in trouble!”
Harry was leisurely sipping his coffee, pleased with the smooth operation of the all–in–one medical examination machine project. His mood was upbeat.
Setting down his cup. Harry advised calmly. “Ethan, you’re a successful man now–no need to get all worked up over things. Understand? Stay calm and collected.”
It exuded an aura of someone who could always keep a grip on the situation.
Harry didn’t finish his thought, suddenly realizing he was unintentionally comparing Ethan to Gabriel, shaping him as a role model to emulate.
Ethan struggled to regain his composure, but Olivia’s threats left him seething angrily and urgently.
“Harry, here’s the situation. I don’t know how Olivia got her hands on that photo of the person she claims I hit. Now she’s using it to blackmail me. Harry, I can’t let this despicable person control me forever. Can you help me… help me get rid of her!”
Ethan’s resolve suddenly hardened.
With Harry’s support, he felt a surge of strength within him.
What are you talking about? A photo?”
Harry was equally astonished. How did Olivia manage to obtain that photo? It must have been a problem on Ibrahim Rosario’s end. The thought filled Harry with fury.

Harry’s current mood mirrored Ethan’s he despised Olivia!
While Harry might be unable to deal with Gina, handling Olivia should be a piece of cake.
“She has a photo. We can’t let her feel her life is in danger… Otherwise, if she leaks the photo, it’s all over.”

Ethan explained Olivia’s request to become a shareholder and her plea for assistance with debt

“For now, agree to her terms to keep her under control. Once she’s on board, she won’t have the upper hand to blackmail you again. Trust me. Ethan, I’ll handle the rest of the issues for you. Besides, Olivia might still prove

Ethan knew he couldn’t arrange a direct meeting with Gina, so he intercepted her at Prover Hospital.
Under normal circumstances, Ethan might not have been able to catch Gina. Still, luckily, she had been busy setting up

artificial seed palace project team in the hospital’s research labs. As she left, Ethan approached her.
Gina shot Ethan a cold glance, sending shivers down his spine. He couldn’t shake the feeling that she was increasingly resembling Gabriel with her piercing gaze.
“I need to talk to you.” Ethan attempted to sound assertive, but his words came out somewhat hesitant.
“Go ahead,” Gina responded.
Ethan handed her a check. “Olivia owes you about 18 million dollars. I’m here to settle her debt.”
Gina was taken aback and found it somewhat amusing. She remarked sarcastically, “Rekindled your romance! Well, congratulations. You two certainly seem well–suited for each other.”
Ethan seethed with frustration. How could that wretched Olivia ever be considered his equal? Yet, he refrained from contradicting Gina. “We haven’t reconciled, so don’t jump to conclusions. Anyway, I’ve settled her debt, and that’s the end of it”
Gina didn’t say much, simply accepting the check.
With a weight off his shoulders, Ethan could finally depart!
He turned swiftly, leaving the scene and hopping into his car,
As Gina held the check, she pondered. Ethan’s willingness to assist Olivia with her debt couldn’t possibly signal a rekindling of their romance.
It was more likely that Olivia had some leverage over Ethan.
As for what that leverage might be, Gina wasn’t interested for now.
She pocketed the check, preparing to leave, when suddenly she heard Dylan’s voice, “Gina!”
Gina paused.
She turned back..
Dylan hurried over to her.
*I’ve got something to share with you,” Dylan said, pausing briefly. “I’ve managed to uncover how Shawn persuaded those experts to join him fervently in the artificial seed palace project.”
Gina hadn’t asked Dylan about this investigation, wary of putting him in a difficult position between her and the Thomas family. Yet, Dylan had taken it upon himself to uncover the truth.

“Go on, I’m listening”
Since Dylan already had the information, Gina saw no reason to avoid the conversation.
“Shawn informed them that he’d hired Dr. Genevieve to lead the project.”
Dylan was momentarily stunned. The fact that Shawn had managed to deceive those experts and that it involved

Years ago, when Dylan was studying abroad, he had been poisoned by a jealous roommate. Despite being declared nearly dead after days of continuous treatment, he miraculously survived and fully recovered–all thanks to Dr.
Genevieve
And Dylan was more aware of Dr. Genevieve’s true identity than anyone else–she was Gina. He knew Gina wanted to keep her identity hidden, and he had been assisting her. Thus, although the Thomas family knew it was Gina who had saved Dylan, Dylan had told his family back then that Gina was a disciple of Dr. Genevieve.
Given Gina’s youth, the Thomas family naturally didn
suspect her to be Dr. Genevieve. Instead, they believed she had inherited Dr. Genevieve’s skills, given her remarkable medical expertise.
During this instance, Shawn, in an attempt to win over the experts, inadvertently mentioned that Dr. Genevieve had saved Dylan in the past. Additionally, he implied that the Thomas family had maintained a close relationship with Dr. Genevieve, and the artificial seed palace project was her brainchild. They were gathering talented individuals on her
behalf.
Dylan’s miraculous recovery was well–known among the experts, so even though Shawn didn’t allow them to meet the doctor in person, they didn’t doubt Shawn’s account.
