Mentioning me, Paul unconsciously furrowed his brows, his eyes showing unmistakable weariness and disgust. “Don’t mention her; she’s bad luck!”
“She loves to lie so much, you know that, everyone can be deceived by her. Kyra, you shouldn’t be; you promised to always stand by my side.”
The last sentence was spoken by Paul with a tender and emotional tone, as if they were the most intimate lovers in the world.
