Ignoring my dad and Remy, she went upstairs to the attic. When she saw my bed full of sneakers, she collapsed. The room was piled up with their things.
She opened the window and threw out Remy’s sneakers. Remy sensed. something was wrong. When he came, the shoes on my bed were all gone.
He screamed and went downstairs to find his shoes. My dad thought. Laura had gone insane and yelled at her. She didn’t care and went out.
