Unwanted Luna

Chapter 10
I thought Alpha Anderson would give up after this, but I had underestimated how thick–skinned he really was.
Beth rushed in, breathless. “That man is coming again!”
I frowned. “Tell Alpha Anderson I’m not available and that he should leave.”
Beth shook her head. “I’m afraid he won’t leave until he sees you today!”
“What’s going on?”
Beth’s expression was hard to read. “You’ll know when you go out and see for yourself.”
When I stepped out, I was greeted by the

sight of roses–everywhere. They were arranged in a huge heart shape, and standing in the center, holding a bouquet of vibrant roses, was Alpha Anderson.
It wasn’t just Alpha Anderson–Carol was there too.
As soon as Alpha Anderson saw me, his eyes lit up. He immediately dropped to one knee.
“Vivian, please give me another chance to make up for my wrongs. I know I was wrong before, and I hope you can forget the past and start over with me.”
Carol looked at me with pleading eyes. “Mom, Dad knows he was wrong, and I know, too. Let’s start over as a family, okay?”
It all sounded so simple, so easy for them

to say. Start over? A few casually spoken words, as though I could forget the pain they caused me.
I had never met two wolves so shameless.
I slowly took the roses from Alpha Anderson, and he thought I had accepted his apology. His expression lit up with joy.
But the next moment, the roses were thrown right into his face.
Alpha Anderson failed to dodge in time, and the thorns scraped across his handsome face, leaving several bloody lines.
Both he and Carol were stunned.
“Viya, you-”
I sneered, “What makes you think I would

forgive you? Because of your thick skin?
Sorry, but this isn’t a trash bin, and I don’t take back trash.”
Alpha Anderson’s face turned pale, and he couldn’t say a word. He hadn’t expected me to be so heartless.
Maybe he had thought about it, but deep down, he still clung to a faint hope.
“You don’t have to forgive me, but what about our son? He’s the product of our love, and you worked so hard to bring him into this world. You can’t just abandon him!”
Carol looked at me with hopeful eyes.
They thought, as a mother, I would never abandon my child. Father and son were certain I would soften. But they greatly underestimated the resolve of a mother

whose heart had been shattered.
“I’m not abandoning Carol.”
They instantly became excited, especially Carol, who rushed toward me, hoping to hug me. “Mom, I knew you were always there for me! No matter what I do, you’ll forgive me!”
But I was quicker than him. I sidestepped, and Carol fell to the ground, crashing into the dirt due to his own momentum.
He looked up at me, his gaze dazed. “Mom?”
“It’s Carol who doesn’t want me.”
After I spoke, Carol’s face turned as pale as Alpha Anderson’s.
“So, Mom, you’re still angry with me, right?”

I spoke casually, “Didn’t you say that someone like Vivian was the only one worthy of being your mother?”
It was a light remark, but it struck Carol deeply. He almost lost his balance and collapsed to the ground.
Alpha Anderson, still clinging to his pride, couldn’t stand being rejected again and again. Without waiting for Beth to ask him to leave, he grabbed Carol’s hand and turned to

go.

“Wait-”
Alpha Anderson suddenly turned around, his face filled with surprise, thinking I had changed my mind.
I pointed to the roses scattered on the ground. “Take all this garbage with you.

Anyone who doesn’t know any better might think I’m in the scrap business.”
Alpha Anderson’s expression darkened again, his eyes red. “I understand.”
But Carol still refused to leave, crying and screaming, “I want my mom! I want my mom!”
He was dragged away by Alpha Anderson, his voice growing fainter.
I thought everything was finally settling down, but I didn’t expect Carol, behind Alpha Anderson’s back, to sneak back to me.
“Mom, I know you were just angry last time.”
I sighed, irritated. “This isn’t a place for you.”
Carol’s face turned pale, his eyes red as he

looked at me. “Mom, I was wrong. Don’t you want me anymore?”
I opened my palm, showing him the deep marks that had never fully healed. “Did you forget? You were the one who didn’t want me first. I gave you chances, but you kept pushing me away!”
“You were with Vivian, calling her ‘mom‘ with such affection.”
Carol’s face turned a deathly pale, his small body trembling with fear.
Now he finally understood how I had felt back then.
Tears streamed down his face as he stammered, “I’m… I’m sorry.”
He bowed deeply to me, then left without

looking back.
