“I-I didn’t…” Xavier didn’t know what kind of method she would use to find out the murderer. All he knew was that she would make it happen because she had given him her word.
Xavier might not have trusted others, but he trusted Hera.
He had done his homework. Although Hera was no longer the soft and sweet Cecily, it was true that she was investigating Daphne’s case and was serious about clearing Lucius’ name.

Bernard returned to the courtyard house, where the female subordinate had already left.
The lights in the western wing were on. Hera was sitting on the couch in the living room, looking a little distracted. Tiramisu lay on her lap, showing her its belly to pet.
