“There won’t be next time. Aurora told me that Giselle is grounded for three months.”
Hera put off her work to give Catherine a hug.
“Alright, don’t overthink it again. You’re not troubling me at all. It’s me who’s repaying you. Look at me, I’m just a lazy bum. If it weren’t for you, this clinic might not have survived until this day.”
Catherine sighed, knowing that Hera would be worried sick if she returned to the mountains. Feeling relieved, she hugged Hera back without uttering a word.
In case Catherine still had a lot of things weighing on her mind, Hera put off her work and got changed. She brought Catherine to a nearby park for a stroll with Tiramisu
James and Gideon left the hotel early in the morning for an appointment. Meanwhile, Lilith took Mildred and Gino to the park to meet up with Hera.
The weather in Jedburgh was just right in June. They wandered around the park while walking Tiramisu.
Hera sat on the bench, closing her eyes while basking in the sun. It felt nice to spend her days this way, but only if she could ignore Gino, who was bombarding her with questions.
“Hera, is Vulcan your main account and Raven your side account? What about S?
“Hera, do you own these three accounts?
“What about Bernard? He’s a beginner like me, isn’t he?

“Quiet!” Hera interrupted him.
Gino wouldn’t zip his mouth when he could finally spend time alone with her. “On one condition, be my mentor.”
She gave him a sideways glance. ‘Have you read the books I gave you?”
“I’m still on it, but some of the content is difficult to understand. I have to read the same thing again and again, hence the slow progress,” he said honestly.
She took out a USB flash drive and proffered it to him. “Look at it when you’re home.”
It contained some tutorials personally tailored by her and the D Language, which was full of notes. The USB flash drive was supposed to be given to Bernard, but before she could give it to him, she found out his true identity by chance.
It was fortunate that she didn’t give it to him or it would have been a huge embarrassment.
“Thank you, Hera-I mean-Ms. Hera!” Gino accepted it with excitement and quickly took his laptop out of his bag. He was going to study right now!
Watching him reminded her of her past self. Whenever she received tutorials from S, she would get all excited and bury herself in her studies.
Right then, she noticed that there was a man in black sportswear wearing a hat and a mask standing by a tree. He was scrolling through his phone.
When they entered the park, she already noticed that he had been following behind them.
Gideon came to pick them up for lunch at noon.
“Gideon, I won’t be joining you guys. I have some business to take care of,’ Hera said.
“Alright, call me if anything comes up,” he said.
Hera sent them off. Now, there was only her and Tiramisu.
After watching them leave, she walked Tiramisu another round at the entrance. As she had expected, she saw
that man again at the corner of the entrance.
Hera called someone. Twenty minutes later, a blue Bugatti Veyron stopped in front of her.
The window was wound down to reveal Tyler’s handsome face. “I thought I’d have to wait for at least two weeks until you’d remember me. Hop on.’
She walked to the back seat and opened the door, but it was locked.
“To the passenger seat,” he reminded her.
She carried Tiramisu. ‘Are you sure pets can sit in the front passenger seat?”
It was only then that he noticed the little pig. Annoyed, he unlocked the car doors. “Is that your assistant? I can’t believe that you’re keeping a pig with you. Do you like pigs that much?”
She carried Tiramisu into the back seat. It oinked at Tyler in protest as if it could understand what he said.
“Where would you like to go?” he questioned.
Hera glanced at the man outside the window. “Anywhere you want. My treat.’
Hearing that, Tyler let out a meaningful smile and hit the road. ‘Great. No taking back your word, got it?”
