The day before the wedding, for some reason, I felt aspecially anxious.
A massage popped up in the group chat on my phone: “Are you still going through with the wedding tomorrow? Give us
bros a straight answer.”
“Yeah, we’re even going to watch the show and record Emily’s reaction. It’s bound to be opic.”
I kept turning my phone on and off, but Emily hadn’t sent a single massage,
I was feeling increasingly agitated.
I sent a message to the group: “Before the wedding, is it normal for the bride not to contact the groom?”
“Bro, none of us have ever been married. How would we know?”

A very clear voice told me that I wanted to marry her

At night, before going to sloop, while horsing around in bed, I would softly whisper sweet words into Emily’s oor. Her face would immediately turn bright red. “You jerk!” Emily would playfully punch my choct. But I knew she was happy
In my imagined future, Emily was like a vibrant, adorable little sprite always around me. Her smiles, her coquettish behavior, her shyness all made my heart flutter.
In our shared home.
I wanted to be with her forever and always.
Thinking of this, I called her, but the prompt said her phone was turned off
Something felt off.
I asked in the group chat, and they said she might have gone to sleep early because she was tired. After all, a wedding is a
big undertaking

“I’m getting married tomorrow. Not one of you better not show up.”
“No wedding escape, huh, bro?”

I turned off my phone, imagining how Emily would look in her wedding dress. She must be beautiful
