Suzanne turned her face away as Nathan leaned in for a kiss. His lips. grazed the corner of her mouth as she nervously murmured,” I need to take a shower.”
Suzanne’s body flushed with warmth, her cheeks burning with
embarrassment as she avoided his gaze. The air between them grew heavy, her heart pounding with unusual intensity.
Nathan closed his eyes and took a deep breath before rising from the bed. Suzanne sat up and hurried to the bathroom without a word.
