Antonio had been up all night.
He sat there like a rock, eyes glued to the entrance of Alison’s apartment building.
Antonio only jolted awake when he saw Javon’s car arrive at her place.
Antonio’s gaze was fixed on the entrance.
Ten minutes later, Alison walked out with a smile. Wearing sunglasses, she chatted with Javon as she headed to the passenger seat.
She wore a light blue shirt, dark jeans, a long coat, and a scarf that popped against her wavy brown hair.
She looked really fresh and lively in the sun.
Right then, Antonio felt like she wasn’t like Grace at all.
His wife was elegant, always wearing smart, stylish clothes.
But this woman was relaxed and casual. She followed her own style, not caring what others thought.

He approached Alison, taking the chance to ask her to dance.

“You say you love your wife, but ignore her pain, causing more harm?
“You say she loves you, but after being betrayed, how can you think she’d still feel the same way?”
Antonio stood there, completely at a loss for words.
Each question felt like a sharp knife, hitting him right in the heart.
With a sneer, Alison pulled off her mask, revealing her stunning face and the clear contempt in her eyes.
