Soon, Frank handed me another big piece of leverage.
Afraid I wouldn’t give in, he went for the nuclear option and sent me a wedding invitation for him and Lily.
I continued to ignore and block him, but he had too many phone numbers.
At night when he was drunk, he would keep calling to harass me.
“Amber, if you apologize now, I’ll cancel the wedding with Lily. You should know that was the castle wedding you’ve always dreamed of. As long as you come back obediently and give me the rest of the lottery money, we can add another bride to the wedding venue.”
When Frank and I first got married, his mother was seriously ill and the family had no money for a big ceremony.
We just wore our wedding clothes and opened two bottles of champagne at a rural roadside restaurant, and that was it.
He always knew this was my regret.
He thought he could use this to manipulate me and make me apologize.
But my heart no longer stirred at all.
I sneered: “Haha Frank, you must really be drunk if you still can’t tell the difference between a king and a jack.”
“Amber, don’t push your luck! I’m going to give her the wedding you wanted just to piss you off!”
I hung up with a bang. I wanted to see just how lively tomorrow’s wedding would be.

Lily was still wearing her white wedding dress, receiving admiring glances in the middle of the castle.
I went straight for her face, scratching and yelling:
“You homewrecker! I haven’t even signed the divorce papers yet and you’re already seducing my husband! You deserve a beating!”
Lily tried to struggle and fight back, but my face was already scratched and bleeding from her long nails.
But my girlfriends weren’t pushovers either.
In an instant, her pristine white wedding dress was covered in black footprints.
Seeing Frank looking our way, she dramatically collapsed to the ground, crying pitifully.
When Frank saw how badly I had beaten Lily, he rushed over and pushed me away.
“You shameless, venomous woman!”
I also pretended to fall and cry loudly:
“Am I as shameless as her? On the very first day we moved into our new home, you brought her and her child to live with us. Did you think your wife and daughter were dead?!”
“Ladies and gentlemen, look at this man trying to have a wedding with his mistress! Is my marriage certificate fake or what?!
Instantly, the surrounding guests all turned to Frank and Lily with looks of contempt.
Lily cried and tugged at my pant leg, saying:
“Sister, you’ve misunderstood. Frank just wanted to fulfill my wish. I’m not a mistress, I was just temporarily staying at his house to help take
care of Mrs. Foster.”
“I only have one precious daughter, Amber. Where did this bastard child come from?”
Hearing the familiar voice, I immediately got up and ran towards my dad.
Frank was shocked and in disbelief:
“Dad? You’re saying Mr. Anderson is your dad? Wasn’t your dad a rural teacher?”
My dad took one look at Frank and flew into a rage, slapping him hard.
“Frank Foster, you’re not a man at all! I thought you would treat my daughter well, so I secretly gave you promotions and raises, letting you climb to the general manager position. But you actually dared to keep a mistress! You really deserve to die!”
Hearing this, Lily panicked first.
“Frank… who is this old man? He’s not some actor Amber hired, is he?”
Frank wasn’t stupid, but he was still defiant, gritting his teeth as he argued with my dad:
“Mr. Anderson, do you really think I climbed to the general manager position just because of your daughter? If it wasn’t for my own hard work, how could I afford a mansion and luxury cars!”
My dad rolled his eyes and sneered:
“The luxury cars were my daughter’s dowry. The mansion was also bought by my daughter pretending to win the lottery, just to protect your pathetic ego. Did you really think lottery tickets were that easy to win?”
As soon as he finished speaking, Frank was dumbfounded.
He was deeply shaken, almost losing his balance and falling to the ground.

Lily immediately dropped the act and prepared to leave.
But her supposedly dead husband suddenly appeared.
