Caught off guard by her boldness, Alaric shifted his chair away, distancing himself from her.
His tone was unmistakably that of one who had admitted defeat. “Alright, ma’am, you win. Can we drop it now?”
“Hmph, calling me ma’am won’t help!” Hertha responded with a huff of arrogance.
Just then, a middle-aged man from the neighboring umbrella came over and stood by Lysander’s side with a respectful, pleasing demeanor. He smiled and said, “Mr. Sinclair, your golf skills are unrivaled. It’s truly an honor to witness your prowess.”
Thalassa twitched at the corner of her mouth. Such sycophancy was hard to bear.
She felt second-hand embarrassment for him.
Lysander took another sip of his drink as his aura exuded an intimidating nobility. He gave no attention to the man standing beside him.
Daniel Brennan, ignored and left in a dilemma, was visibly embarrassed.

Thalassa snapped back to reality and met Lysander’s gaze.

I’ll teach you.” He said as he grabbed her hand and pulled her up.
