Hearing some noise, Lysander turned around, his gaze falling upon them. His eyes were deep and dark, like a black hole, drawing you in. Just one look, and it felt like your heart was sinking, ready to be swallowed whole by his intense stare.
Thalassa met his gaze and felt her heart skip a beat, just as she was about to speak.
Rosalind rushed over in a hurry, positioning herself right by Lysander’s side, effectively blocking Thalassa’s view and cutting off her line of sight to him.

“I was here for a check-up and saw Matilda rushing over, so I followed her,” Lysander explained.
His gaze then shifted past Rosalind, settling on Thalassa who stood a few meters away from the emergency room. She seemed hesitant, as if wanting to come closer but was full of doubts.
