Daisy wasn’t going to sit idly by any longer. Her voice trembled with anger as she confronted him. “You’re unbelievable, Eros!” she shouted, her eyes blazing with a fire that matched his own. “You’re throwing everything away for what? A chance to get your hands on Remi again?”
Eros‘ eyes narrowed, his expression hardening as the words hit him like a slap. He had been caught off guard by the confrontation, but his pride wouldn’t let him back down. “What do you know?” His voice was cold, filled with venom “You don’t understand a damn thing, Daisy”
Daisy took a step forward, her shoulders squared. “I understand more than you think, Eros. You never cared about me. I was just a tool to you, a way to pass the time. But now… now you’re playing with fire, and you have no idea how badly you’re going to get burned.”
Her words stung, but Eros refused to show weakness. Instead, he laughed bitterly, stepping closer to her, towering over her. “You’re right I never cared for you. You were always just entertainment. You were fun while it lasted, but now it’s over. So shut the fuck up.”
The coldness of his words sent a shock through her, but Daisy didn’t flinch. She had known, deep down, that Eros had never truly been hers. Their bond had always been built on a lie, on a connection that was nothing more than a fleeting distraction. He might have loved her in the past, but he loved Remi now. And now, as he stood there, his confession hung in the air, suffocating her.
“You’re damn selfish,” she muttered, her voice steady despite the ache in her chest. “You’ll regret letting me go, Alpha You love me! You need me!”
With that, she turned, her heels clicking sharply against the stone floor as she stormed away. The sound of her departure echoed in the empty hallway, leaving Eros standing there, alone with the weight of his own bitterness.
In the meantime, Crown Prince Raegan was busy in Remi’s room, his mind racing with thoughts of the events that had unfolded in the past few days.
He moved carefully, making sure no one was watching as he approached Remi’s sleeping form. His heart ached for her, even as he collected the hair samples. He had no idea what this would mean for her, but he couldn’t ignore the growing certainty that she was the key to everything.
As he held the small strands of hair in his hand, Raegan paused, his thoughts drifting back to the ritual. He remembered the way Bianca had clung to Remi, her body trembling as the light had bathed them both in its brilliance. He had thought, at the time, that it was nothing more than a strange coincidence. But now, after everything that had happened, it felt like a sign. A sign that Bianca was not who she claimed to be.
The prince clenched his jaw, his resolve hardening. He wasn’t going to let this go. He had suspected something for a long time, but now he had the proof he needed. The test results would tell him everything. He just had to wait.
Back in the royal lab, the first test results had come in. Raegan was pacing anxiously, his mind racing with the possibilities. He had to know the truth, and the results would be his answer. When the lead doctor finally arrived, carrying the results in his hand, Raegan felt his heart skip a beat.
“Your Highness,” the doctor said, bowing respectfully. “The results are in. I’ve gone over everything. It’s as we
feared ”
Raegan’s eyes locked onto the papers in the doctor’s hands. “Tell me.”
The doctor handed him the test results, his expression somber. “Bianca is not the true heir. Her bloodline royal She’s a fraud, Your Highness.”
The words hit the prince like a punch to the gut. He had known, deep down, that something wasn’t right, but hearing it confirmed, hearing the truth laid bare in black and white, felt like a betrayal.
“But how?” Raegan’s voice was low, barely above a whisper. “How could she have fooled everyone?” The doctor’s eyes shifted uneasily. “It seems that she orchestrated this. We believe that the hair sample she gave us was from the true princess’s hair, Blanca had the intention of taking the throne by deception.”
Raegan’s mind spun with this new revelation. It was all starting to make sense now–the strange energy between Bianca and Remi, the ritual, the way Bianca had acted. Bianca’s entire existence had been a carefully
