Claire Winslow wasn‘ t just his secret lover – she was also one of our longest–standing employees, practically there from day one. She held a key role in the company, which made things tricky, but also gave me a direct path to ruin them both. my side.
At board meetings, I made sure to position myself as the problem solver, while Claire fumbled to explain why her deals kept to falling through.

During a critical meeting, I subtly exposed her string of bad decisions, referencing the failed deals she had been pursuing for months. Investors and board members. alike started asking questions–too many for her to answer.
That was when I seized my opportunity. I suggested a vote of no confidence, proposing that I take over her
responsibilities to stabilize the company.
With the groundwork I had laid, it was a breeze. The board voted in my favor, and just like that, Claire was pushed out of her leadership role.
