Real And Fake Finace Novel

What was there to say?
This was his choice, wasn’t it? He gave me two options, I made my decision, and now he couldn’t accept it.
Now, he was putting on a show, pretending to care so deeply about me and the child he’d threatened to use against me.
I wrenched myself free from his grip, grabbing my packed suitcase as I headed for the door.
In a frenzied panic, he called for security, ordering them to change the passcodes for the entire house.
He turned to the staff, his voice sharp and unstable.
“Make sure she doesn’t take a single step out of this house! Claire, you’ll never leave me.

Not in this lifetime!”
“Evan, are you trying to imprison me?” I glared at him, my voice firm with disbelief and
anger.
His pale lips pressed into a thin line, a silent acknowledgment. “Claire, this is our home. Stay here, okay? Don’t go anywhere.‘
Anne bit her lip, glaring at me with resentment and jealousy, her teary eyes glinting with
hatred.
Locked in the room for the night, I picked up my phone the next morning, only to be greeted by a news notification.
The article featured photos of Evan and Anne on vacation, snapped by a passerby. The headline gushed about their “fairytale romance,” while the comments were flooded with admiration, declaring them a match made in heaven.
Some users dug up photos from the wedding day, calling me the homewrecker who had dared to disrupt their ceremony, only to be humiliated in public. The insults piled on, with cruel comments and even doctored photos mocking my appearance. A group was even organized to report me to my workplace.
I thought Evan wouldn’t care about any of it, or at least that he’d ignore it as he always had. But this time, he actually showed up.
He looked at me earnestly. “Claire, if you promise not to divorce me, I’ll have someone clear your name right away.”

“And as for… the abortion,” he added, his voice faltering as a flicker of pain crossed his face, “I’ll let it go.”
I let out a bitter laugh. “Evan, where do you get the audacity to say you’ll ‘let it go‘? You’re the one who demanded an abortion before agreeing to a divorce. Now you’re going back on your word? You’re like a dog barking nonsense.”
I flipped open the news article, enlarging the photo of him and Anne, then held it up in front of him.
“Look at the two of you–such a perfect pair. Everyone’s blessing your relationship. Divorcing you would just clear the way for her.
His face darkened instantly, and he jabbed a finger in my direction, shouting insults.
“Claire, I’ve told you already that I love you. Anne is just a friend! Nothing has ever happened between us! Do you want me to prove it to you?”
He grabbed my collar and forced his lips onto mine. I clenched my teeth, refusing to give in, but his hand tightened around my neck, forcing me to open my mouth as he took advantage of my vulnerability.

As my strength faded, he pinned my wrists and pushed me toward the bed, tearing my clothes apart piece by piece.
“Evan, you bastard! Let me go!” I screamed, tears streaming down my face, but I was no match for his strength.
Through his rough movements, I curled up in pain, sobbing, “It hurts… Evan, my stomach hurts…”
He froze immediately, his gaze darting to the bright red stain spreading across the pristine white sheets. The sight stopped him cold, his panic palpable.
“Claire, I’m sorry. I… I wasn’t thinking. I forgot you just had an abortion a few days ago.”
Dropping to his knees before me, he slapped himself hard across the face twice, then lowered his head in shame.
But I couldn’t bring myself to even look at him. Hatred burned through me as I summoned the last of my strength to scream, “Get out!”
