Hearing those words, Julian finally relaxed. Of course, Hillary wouldn’t leave him. He glanced at her, his expression slightly awkward as he turned his head away. “If you need to buy something, just use my card.”
Hillary was surprised and didn’t quite grasp what he was saying but she soon understood. “Don’t worry, I’ve already withdrawn the case, I won’t go back on my word.”
Julian was stunned. He instantly felt a surge of anger and embarrassment. “It’s best you know that because I really don’t want to argue with your parents over this!” he sneered.
Hillary’s hands slightly quivered as she remained mute while Julian looked away with a cold face. Not long after he left, Willow entered the room. The usual arrogance on her face was now replaced with anger. “Hillary, what underhanded tricks did you use to seduce Julian?”
Hillary didn’t respond, which only made Willow laugh in frustration. “Do you really think Julian still loves you?

Hillary remained calm as she countered. “If you’re so sure of that, then why are you so anxious?”
Willow’s expression froze and she looked at Hillary in a panic Hillary didn’t stop there but continued, “Back then,
you ran off overseas for another man and then falsely accused me of threatening you. Now, it’s happening again Just because I’m not pursuing it now doesn’t mean it’s over. Willow you better watch yourself.”
When Willow heard the first sentence, her expression turned fierce. She looked at Hillary and suddenly smiled coldly. “So what? Do you think Julian doesn’t know about these things?”
Her tone was filled with triumph. “But even knowing all this, he will still protect me.”
Hillary’s eyelashes trembled, her fingers unconsciously tightening into a fist Deep down, she had already realized the truth.
Back at the bar, when Willow was caught in her lies, Julian never questioned her. Instead, he defended her. He didn’t even bother to ask for the truth. At that moment, she roughly understood that Julian wasn’t ignorant of the truth. He was simply trying to shift the blame onto her, making excuses for Willow.
She said nothing, but Willow deliberately approached her. She deliberately showed the hickeys on her neck and chuckled. “You have been married for three years and Julian hasn’t touched you, right? You don’t know that he is like a hungry wolf in bed and can’t get enough.”
Hillary stared at Willow’s purple mark. She suddenly remembered their wedding night when Julian threw his suit and black gloves into the trash with disgust after the banquet
He had severe mysophobia and drew a clear line between him and her in the room. He didn’t allow her to get close to his bed, including his car. It was only in the last two years that he reluctantly allowed her inside and she had foolishly taken that as a sign he was opening his heart to her.
Looking back now, she couldn’t help but find it ridiculous. She had spent years trying to please Julian, hoping to get even a sliver of his affection. Yet, Willow only had to stand there and Julian would love her unconditionally. No matter what mistakes she made, he would always protect her and clear any obstacles for her.
Love or indifference–it was painfully obvious. No wonder everyone was betting on when they would get divorced
Willow frowned when she noticed Hillary smiling. “What are you laughing at? Have you lost your mind?” Hillary’s smile faded, her voice light but stable. “I just realized… maybe this was all fated from the start.” Maybe she would never be able to love someone the same way again.
Compared to Hillary’s calmness, Willow looked like she had just won a battle. She turned with a triumphant smirk and left. After leaving the room, Willow’s eyes turned vicious. She sneered at the door. “You actually thought Julian

On the other side of the wall, Hillary quietly packed up everything she could sell and donated the money to children in the remote area. The unusable items were thrown into the trash. Once everything was settled, the villa
was empty. She handed in her resignation to Julian’s father and booked a flight overseas.
