Erin casually flipped her wrist and pointed at me, “Then you should return the favor and put the hat back on her.”
Christine chuckled, “I wouldn’t dare.”
Erin’s tone turned stern. “I’ve already told everyone that, apart from work matters, there should be no distinctions of status. Since she made the first move, you have every right to retaliate. Go ahead, with met here, let’s see if she dares to do anything,” Erin said.

I glared at him, my eyes filled with rage. “You betrayed me first, lied to me for so many years and now you have the nerve to say anything to me? And you, Erin, I will make sure to get back everything you’ve taken from me, twice as much!”
Erin exaggerated her response, “Oh, I’m so scared.”
Victor gave me a cold look, his eyes filled with ice. “Erin, don’t waste your breath on her. She has already violated the rules by laying hands on a colleague. Have her leave immediately. She hit Frank, I don’t want to see her again.”
Erin nodded and chuckled lightly. “Did you hear that? Victor said he never wants to see you again.”
“What a pity,” she continued, her voice
rising. “From now on, everything about you no longer belongs to you.”

Then, she loudly ordered, “This person has broken the store’s rules and threatened a colleague. Get her out of here!”
Upon hearing this, everyone began to push me out, calling me a social failure who deserved to be hit by a car. During the shoving, someone even went as far as to use underhanded tactics against me. I was dragged out of the office building and
pinned to the ground, unable to move. Erin stepped on my hand, applying force as she crushed it.
“Liane, the biggest mistake of your life was ever getting involved with Victor. From now on, you will never be able to hold your head up again.”
I was beaten, every part of my body aching with pain, but I glared at her in fury. Just as I was about to speak, I saw a Ferrari approaching from a distance.

diverted, I mustered the last of my strength to break free from their grasp.
As some of them realized what was happening and were about to rush over to beat me again, the Ferrari suddenly drifted. and stopped right between me and them.
A tall figure stepped out of the car. After scanning the surroundings, his gaze landed on me, his expression immediately darkening.
“Liane, how did you get hurt like this?”
Looking at my brother, I let out a bitter smile and shook my head. “Why did you come here?”
My brother helped me up and said, “How do you still say that? Ever since Dad forgave you, I’ve been hoping we could reunite as a family. I came to pick you up.”
He paused for a moment and added,
“Lucky I came early, or else these people might have beaten you to death.”

While things were calm on our side, the scene near Erin exploded.
“Isn’t that Brandon, the young director of Evolv Group?”
“Why is he here and why does he seem so concerned about Liane?”
“Wait a minute, Liane Harari, Brandon Harari, they both have the same surname! Could it be that Liane has some connection to Evolv Group?”
