I arrived home with a smug smile on my lips. It felt incredibly good to do what I did today to Andrew and his whore I wasn’t even in the mood to hold a conversation with them.
As I unpacked my bag I heard Adam’s voice behind me, startling me
“What’s got you grinning like a Cheshire cat?” he asked me.
I frowned, “Ever heard of knocking. Adam?”
Adam arched a brow as he stared at my open door, “You’re the one who left your door open.
I arched a brow and he sighed before knocking on the door. My grin widened as I told him to come inside.
“So tell me,” Adam urged.
“I saw Andrew and his girlfriend today at the mall,” I stated.
Adam frowned, “Are you alright? Did he hurt you?”
I chuckled, “It’s so sweet that you’re worried about me, Adam but I’m fine. I slapped their asses.”
Adam grinned, “Now that’s what I’m talking about. But what are they doing in Miami? Aren’t they supposed to be in Chicago?”
I shrugged, “Maybe there’s a reason they’re here.”
Adam eyed me suspiciously, “What did you do, Lily?”
I frowned, “What makes you think I did something?”
Just then my phone rang, it was Lance. I shooed Adam away from my room as I picked up the call
“Hello, Wifey,” his husky voice sounded over the phone.
“Hi, Lance. I hope I didn’t wreck you with the dresses I took,” I said, smiling
Lance chuckled over the phone, “You have a long way to go to wreck me, Wifey. I just wanted to inform you that I’ve done everything you wanted and the party is ready”
“Thank you,” I smiled at him.
