I am pregnant. Sitting alone in the hospital room, I stared at the test results the doctor handed me over. My mind was swirling with confusion and fear. I was going to be a mother, but had no idea what to do or where to go. Killian’s rejection, the divorce, the murder. My life had been turned upside down, and now, with a baby on the way, everything seemed even more complicated.
What should I do? Should I return to my old pack? Will my father let me into the pack? What should I tell them”
I know my father and stepmother would never let me back in, especially after learning why Killian had banished me. They would view me as a disgrace, and my father would never allow me to return.

My wolf has been happy hearing the news of me being pregnant, pulling her out of the heartbroken by the rejection of our mate. But my mind was elsewhere since the doctor left me with the reports.
The memory of that night with the stranger in the meeting hall came back to me in fragments. I didn’t see his face or his name. I only saw his tattooed back and remembered his scent. Should I try to find him? Find out who he was? Where does he live! And try to contact him? Or should 1 focus on raising this child alone!
But what if he takes my children away from me!
As these questions tormented me, Greta entered the room with a glass of juice in her hand. Her kind eyes softened as she looked at me, sensing my distress. She handed me the glass, and I couldn’t hold back any longer. The tears came in a flood, and I broke down, pouring out all my fears and thoughts out to her.
“Greta,” I sobbed, my voice shaking. Im pregnant.” I said, tears streaming down my eyes. “I don’t know what to do. Where will I go? What will I tell my father? He will never take me back if he learns all about this.”
Greta sat beside me, holding my hand gently. “Adeline,” she said softly. “Please calm down. You need to drink this,” Greta said gently. “You need to take care of yourself.”
I nodded, taking a sip, but the tears I’d been holding back spilled over. “I don’t know what to do. I’m so lost.”
“Adeline, you’re stronger than you think. You will get through this You’re not alone.” She said, holding me.
“But I feel so alone,” I whispered, my voice breaking. “I can’t go back to my old pack. I have nowhere to go.” I said, lowering
my gaze.
“Adeline, you need to calm down.” Greta said while her eyes softened, looking at me. “You remind me so much of my daughter,” she said, her voice tinged with sadness.
“Your daughter?” I asked, and my curiosity piqued. “You never told me about her,” I said. She never told me about her family until now, so I was a bit shocked and surprised at her words.
“She passed away,” Greta replied, her voice trembling. “Her mate died because of some illness and she couldn’t handle the death of her mate,” she added, her tone filled with sadness.
“I’m so sorry,” I said, my heart aching for her loss.

Greta squeezed my hands okay, dear. It’s been hard, but-helping you has given me a sense of strong for yourself and your child.”
I nodded, wiping my tears away. “I want to be strong, but I don’t know where to start.”

Greta took a deep breath. “Don’t worry, I have a sister who lives a neighboring pack, the Crystal Moon Pack. It’s a safe place, and I know she’ll help you. I’ll talk to her and arrange for you to stay there.”

1 looked at Greta, gratitude overwhelming me. “Thank you, Gret. I don’t know what I would do without you.” I said, a fresh set of tears filling my eyes.
She smiled, with a glimmer of hope in her eyes. “You don’t have to face this alone, Adeline.”
As Greta left to make the arrangements, I sat back on the bed, determination settling over me. I would go to the Crystal Moon Pack and start anew. I had to keep fighting. For the sake of my unborn child and for the future, I still had the chance
to create.
The days in the hospital@lurred together, and my mind was heavy with uncertainty. Since being locked up in the dark room for two days without food and water, I had to stay at the hospital 1 lay in bed, my hand resting protectively over my abdomen. The kind doctor. Greta had been a lifeline during these dark days. She had arranged a ride to the Crystal Moon Pack with my belongings. Before leaving, I thanked her for everything she had done.
“Thank you for everything, Greta.” I said, hugging her, “I don’t know what I would have done without you.” Tears filled my eyes. “And please, promise me you’ll never tell anyone where I’ve gone, about my pregnancy or anything that has happened. I know no one will probably ask about me, but just in case.”
She hugged me tightly, her voice as firm as she promised. “I will never tell anyone, I promise, but you must call me reach the pack. My sister will receive you,” she said, with unshed tears in her eyes.

I nodded, the lump in my throat making it hard to speak. As the car pulled away, I looked back one last time, taking in the place that had been both my prison and my home for the past year. The ride from the Silver Moon Pack to the Crystal Moon Pack was filled with thoughts, questions, and uncertainty. But I decided to push everything aside and start over. I would welcome this new pack with an open heart and try to forget the pain of my past.
When I reached the pack, Greta’s sister, Maria, welcomed me warmly. She helped me settle my things in her home and insisted that I stay with her.
“I don’t want to be a burden.” I said hesitantly, standing in her cozy living room
“Nonsense,” Maria replied with a smile. “I live alone, and I would love company. Besides, you need a safe place to rest and take care of yourself and your babies.”
Her kindness touched me deeply, but 1 hesitated at first, but eventually agreed. “Thank you, Maria. I can’t express how much this means to me.” I said.

Later, Maria took me turmeet the alpha of the pack to request permission for me to stay. As we reached his office, the doors opened, and a tall, handsome man with a familiar face walked in
