Stephanie’s face suddenly turned pale. She lifted her head, biting her lip, both indignant and annoyed.
She noticed that Celia had been particularly cold to her recently, and coupled with the trouble at her family’s company, she feared that the Cooper family would look down on her. It was then that she remembered the child who lived in the hospital, whom she had seen once, and who was particularly important to the Cooper family.
She had originally planned to take a roundabout approach, handle the child, and then gradually secure her own position. However, who would have known that the child would be so difficult to manage?
