“What role do you want me to play by your side?” Cynthia, though a bit shy, hadn’t forgotten the purpose of her visit today

Cynthia was stunned. She scrutinized him, trying to find some trace of insincerity in his poised demeanor. But he was a titan of business, undefeated in the market–not someone whose mind could be easily read by others.

“Did you bring your ID Card? Liam sorted out the documents on his desk and stood up to approach Cynthia.
“Huh?” The sudden shift caught Cynthia off–guard.
Then she felt a tap on her forehead; Liam stood before her, hand in pocket, a smile at the corner of his mouth.
Cynthia covered her forehead, looking up at him. Only then did she realize how tall he was, towering a full head above her. Even at her own height of 5 feet 7 inches, next to him, shir looked adorable.
