Chapter 73
“So….are you going to get back together with her?” Nadia asked slowly.
“Have you even been listening to anything that I’m saying? I already said that she is the reason I’m here. Of course I want her back. I messed up and up our relationship in the past. But now I’m willing to do better.
She will have no other choice than to accept me back into her life Steve said. He had already investigated Ciara before he came here. He knows now that she is doing well for herself. He did not want to let her go now. He wanted her all for himself again.
Nadia nodded her head dumbly. “I get it. So you should be preparing to leave now?” She asked.
Even though he already told her that he’s going to to leave, she did not expect it to be so soon.

“Of course not. Do you think that it’s so easy to win someone’s heart? You’ve been trying for so long with Axiel and haven’t gotten anywhere. It won’t be long before I get back with Clara though. I’m still sure that she’s in love with me. She has always loved me. She just needs to know that I’m a better man and she will accept me back” Steve said.
Nadia scoffed inside her heart. She wanted to tell Steve that a woman with a working brain won’t go back to an ex boyfriend who broke her heart but she held herself back. It will seem as if she doesn’t want him to leave if he ever said anything about

So, she will just let him be arrogant. Reality will be slapping him in the face sooner or later. Ciara seems like such a smart woman. She won’t accept someone who has hurt her back into her life.
“Hey, come to think of it, I think that we can work together to get the people that we both want. We can help each other here” Steve said. He wondered why he had not thought about this before.
Nadia wants to get close to Acella who is Axiel’s sister and Acella is close to Ciara. Ciara on the other hand has some ties with Axiel….it seems that all of them are connected to each other in some way…..
“What do you mean? How can we help each other?” Nadia asked. She will never pass up a chance to get together with Axiel.
“Look, you want to get close to Acella, and Acella seems to be friends with Ciara. Do you see what’s going on here? They are all connected to us in one way or another. As long as we work together, we can both get what we want!” Axiel said excitedly.
Nadia stood there as she thought about it. He seems to be right, they all seem to have some kind of connection with each
other.
If it will make Axiel look at her again, she is more than willing to take the consequences.
She stretched out her hand to Steve and gave him a very business like smile. “Alright then. Let’s have a good cooperation”
she said.
Ciara drove Acella back to her house. Acella was already shivering in fear, thinking about what Axiel would do to her once she enters into that house.
She wasn’t thinking when she decided to leave. She just wanted to get back at Axiel, to rebel against him in some kind of twisted way and so she chose the very bad decision to walk away. She should not have done it. She wasn’t thinking straight at
all.
“Ok, so we are going to go inside, and tell your brother everything that happened. We are not going to leave anything out because he deserves to know what is going on in your life. Do you understand me?” Ciara asked. She could tell that Acella needs someone to tell her that the events of tonight aren’t her fault at all.

Or else, she’s just going to overthink and harm herself again. He needs to prevent that from happening no matter what.
“I don’t think that he cares about me enough to care. He has his own life. I’m sure that he won’t mind whatever I do as long as I don’t die. As long as I come back alive, he will be fine” Acella said. She will rather let her brother ignore her and go ahead with living his life on his terms than him getting involved in what she does and scolding her.

you know deep down that you don’t mean that. You want your brother to care about you but you don’t know how to about it. Self destructive behaviour won’t take you anywhere. It will only make you more broken. Take it from someone who’s been through depression. You need all the love and care that you can get. If someone’s willing to give it to you, take it, instead of pushing them away from your life” Ciara said.
She isn’t really someone who likes to talk much. But she is willing to break all of her principles for Acella’s sake.
Acella bowed her head. She sure would like to let someone love her. But she doesn’t think Axiel will be that’p
‘person.
Maybe it’s true that she had never really opened herself up to him. But that’s because she knows that he won’t care anyway. It will never have any effect on him.
“Alright. That’s enough. Stop overthinking. We are going to tell Axiel what you did today. How you sneaked out and how you almost got taken advantage of. Remember this Acella. It’s not your fault. No matter who you are, you should be able to hang
out in public places without fear of getting harrased. It’s not your fault that you met a jerk!” Ciara said.
She did not mind saying the same thing to Acella over and over again as long as she can get it into Acella’s head that it’s not her fault.
Acella shrugged. Even though Ciara had told her many times, she still found it hard to believe that it’s not her fault.
The both of them stepped out of the car and entered the house.
They immediately saw Axiel standing in front of Matthew and scolding him.
“Seriously Mathew? Is this how you do your job?. All you had to do was watch my sister and make sure she doesn’t run off on her own! Are you telling me that you could not do that? I can’t deal with this, I can’t deal with you! She’s just a young wolf!

Matthew just stood there and let Axiel scold him. He had let Acella leave the palace because he believed that she could not get out on her own. He had underestimated her and he deserves to be scolded now.
