Thinking about the way her classmates had treated her, she felt embarrassed. She used to be the center of attract school and everyone liked her and wanted to be her friend but now, she’s still the center of attraction but everydine laughing at her.
They don’t know what she did to her sister because Micheal and Miles did not want to make school life hard for Alexia but they all know that she isn’t their mate anymore. And they are all flocking to Alexia for some reason.
Did you do what I told you to do?” Ray asked, breaking into Kayla’s thoughts.
Kayla looked at her father with hate in her eyes. Of course this is the only thing that he thinks about. He’s only worried about himself. He really could not care less about anything that happens to her!

“Dad, you know that things like this are definitely going to take time. What I did to her….it’s going to take some time before she can forgive me Kayla said. Maybe if she acts quickly, she won’t Need Alexia’s forgiveness at all. But she doesn’t tell her father this. He doesn’t need to know what she’s plotting at all.

Kayla frowned. ‘Dad, how can you say that about me? You know that I am doing my best here! I really want her to forgive me too! Do you think that I like how I am being treated in school right now! All of my classmates and friends are looking at me as if I am some kind of discase!

Ray rolled his eyes. “Do you think that I care about your silly school girl fight? It has nothing to do with me! Just make sure that you get Alexia to forgive you! I don’t want any more excurs from your Kay said.
Dad, do you really not even care about what I feel at all? Do you know how hard it is for me to beg Alexia? You just keep leaving me to deal with everything to grovel and beg her without caring about how I am going to feel! I am so angry! Just give me a break, will you dad?” Kayla asked.
Ray scoffed. “You want me to give you a break? Who do you think is going to give me a break then? Having to deal with humiliation and embarrassment isn’t the only thing that will happen if you don’t get Alexia to forgive you soon! I can assure you that the humiliation and embarrassment will be the least of your worries then Ray said.
“Dad! What do you mean?” Kayla asked.
“Michael and Miles told the elders about what you did. They all know that I’m supporting you even after you hurt your sister. Most of the elders are avoiding me now and it’s affecting my business. What do you think will happen if I lose the business? We will be poor! Dirt poor! I’m sure that you don’t want that to happen Kayla! How are you going to afford all of your expensive clothes and shoes if we are broke? Think about it and make a decision for yourself! Don’t go around doing stupid stuff thinking that you’ll be able to get away with it” Ray said
Kayla’s heart sank to her ch*st . Being embarrassed and humiliated in school no longer mattered to her, when she heard there’s a chance that they may become poor.
She can’t live a life of poverty! She’d rather die than let that happen to her

Ray rolled his eyes. “That is why I gave you a choice. You can either go over and beg Alexia properly, make sure that she forgives you, or you can keep holding on to your pride until we are left with nothing although Micheal and Miles brought you out of jail, that doesn’t mean that they aren’t going to find a way to punish you for what you did! They are definitely going to find a way to make us suffer! And what better way is there besides making us penniless? If you know what’s good for you, you had better start groveling if that is what you need for your sister to forgive you!” Ray said.
Kayla nodded her head. She has been successfully scared. She doesn’t want to become poor. She hates poverty! Maybe her revenge can wait until the threat of poverty is over first? She will do anything as long as it means she doesn’t become penniless.
The next day at school, Kayla was more than determined to win her sister over. She didn’t even care at the people who were looking at her.
She had one goal in her head. Find her sister and let her know that she’s sorry.
She has to admit that she hasn’t been putting in a lot of effort into her apology before this. She should do it properly. She immediately saw Alexia entering class. Kayla went after her immediately.
“Alexia!” Kayla called out cheerfully. She sl*pped her hand into Alexia’s arms before Alexia knew what was happening.
Alexia looked at Kayla with a blank and confused look on her face. Something seemed to have changed about Alexia….the way she held on to her….it made Alexia feel goosebumps.
She knows that Kayla wants to get her forgiveness because she and her father want to use her but Kayla will never touch her like this before. What the heck is wrong with her?
“Kayla..what are you doing?” Alexia asked. She tried to sl*p her hand away from Kayla’s grip but Kayla was just stronger her. There was no way that she could do that. She had to put up with her ‘sister” being this close to her.
