His Untamed Savage Bride

Chapter 9
Chapter 9
“Class 24 really is the dumping ground for all the troublemakers
“Useless teachers can only handle useless students.”
“If you’d contacted Jonas sooner, this could have been easier. Calling us here was pointless.”
As the group of teachers left Zell’s office, sarcastic comments filled the hallway.
Jonas, just ahead, stopped and frowned slightly at the remarks. Turning around with a serious expression, he said, “You can criticize me all you want, but every student has the right to receive an education. You can’t take that away from them.”
Lenore raised an eyebrow, intrigued at his response.
Lucille laughed mockingly and said, “Trash is trash. You can’t stop us from saying it.”

In her heart, Class 24 was always the one to be trampled upon. She lifted her chin proudly, disdain written all over her face. “Why don’t you prove us wrong by improving your class’s grades”
Jonas struggled with that challenge daily. He put in a lot of effort and truly believed there was hope for Class 24. But reality often made him rethink that optimism. In Class 24, the number of students who managed to pass was shockingly low.
“They just don’t want to learn. But if they did, I’m sure…” Jonas trailed off, unable to finish his thought.
He straightened up, trying to regain some confidence. “So what if they aren’t study–smart? As teachers, we can’t give up on them, and neither should education.”
Lucille chuckled dismissively and replied, “Why not admit they’ve chosen to give up on education?”
Jonas’s face flushed red, his fists clenched tightly. “I believe in them,” he declared, though his voice wavered.
Used to his hesitant nature, Lucille and the others walked away, laughter trailing behind them.
Jonas stood still for a moment, then released his clenched fists in defeat, and called out to Lenore, “Let’s go.”
The principal’s office settled into silence. Zell glanced at the half–true resume of Lenore on his desk, his eyes gleaming with
interest.

After a long pause, he muttered, “Greenvine High has been struggling these past two years. Since you’re here now, maybe you can help us turn things around…”
Being a guy, Jonas couldn’t just walk into the girls‘ dorm. After helping Lenore get her books and uniform, he asked a girl named Tara Chapman from his class to assist Lenore instead.
When Tara got downstairs, she spotted Lenore who was standing under the sun, wearing a black baseball cap. Her long, slender legs rested casually on the edge of a flowerbed as she focused intently on her phone, exuding confidence.
“Are you Lenore?” Tara asked.

Lenore slowly lifted her head and responded, “Yes.”

Tara was taken aback by Lenore’s stunning features, momentarily frozen in place. ‘How could someone be so beautiful?‘ she wondered and found it hard to look away.
Lenore tilted her head playfully, a mischievous grin on her face. Have you seen enough?”
With Lenore’s bright eyes sparkling with mischief, Tara felt her cheeks heat up. “I’m Tara Chapman. Mr. Wilson asked me to take you to the dorm.”
“Let’s go.” As Lenore turned away, her once carefree demeanor seemed to grow distant and cold.
During the walk, normally talkative Tara opened her mouth a few times but couldn’t find the words. She kept stealing glances at Lenore, hesitating to speak.
Lenore shot her a sidelong look. “Just say what’s on your mind.” Her voice was indifferent.
Tara jumped at the sudden comment. She quickly shook her heat. “No, it’s nothing. It’s just… you’re really stunning, and I…” She had never encountered anyone quite so beautiful before.
The dormitory was a spacious six–person room with desks, clean and tidy. Tara pointed to the upper bunk at the far end. “You can sleep here.” She gestured across the room. “I sleep right over there.”
Lenore nodded. “Thanks.”
Tara felt flattered and quickly waved her hand. “Don’t mention it
While Lenore was polite, her cold aura was intimidating. Tara didn’t feel comfortable chatting casually, suppressing the urg to introduce the other roommates
