When Lenore spotted Silas and Wayne, she wasn’t surprised at all. She casually pushed her cap back, her sharp eyes revealing complete indifference. “What’s up?” she drawled lazily
Wayne thought to himself, ‘So Lenore isn’t fixing cars at Peacefield anymore–she’s here in Jinslenburg to be a traffic cop
Silas rested his arm on the car window with a thoughtful smile. Ms. Smedley, did you switch careers?” He remembered hearing not long ago outside Culinary Ascent that Lenore was attending Greenvine High School.

Ken twitched his mouth, glancing at the time. It was already 10 PM. Whether Lenore was actually attending school or not. Ken didn’t want to waste her time. They had already towed over a dozen cars today.
“Lenore, why don’t you head back- Ken started, but before he could finish, a deafening roar interrupted him A fire–red sports car sped toward them, its headlights blazing.
“Hey, hey! Stop the car,” Ken’s team members shouted.
They issued a warning, but the car showed no signs of stopping barreled through the barricade, charging forward with reckless arrogance.
“Mr. Sharpe.” Those who were nearly hit looked visibly shaken.
Ken frowned and glanced at Lenore. She narrowed her eyes, a chill rising as she surveyed the road cluttered with cars. Then she patted the nearby Porsche Cayenne, saying, Tm going to need to borrow this.”
Chuck, sitting in the driver’s seat, was left speechless.
Silas’s eyebrow shot up as he caught on. “Get out of the car,” he ordered coldly. Chuck blinked, still stunned.
Five seconds later, the Porsche Cayenne shot off like a bullet, leaving Chuck and Wayne standing by the roadside, bewildered as the river breeze passed through,
“Hey, wait a minute, Wayne scratched his blue hair, utterly confused. “She can chase after that car, but what’s me here?”
Chuck could only stare, speechless.

Seeing a car closing in behind them, the sports car ahead slammed the gas. Lenore’s lips curled into a cold smile. “Open the Riverside Avenue map, she instructed. The car’s Al quickly pulled up the route.
“Though it’s her first time in my car, she knows it like the back of her hand. This girl is definitely something else, Silas wondered. He squinted, curiosity flashing in his eyes.
Keeping an eye on the road, Lenore glanced at the map and then made a sharp right at the next corner. Two minutes later, she darted out of a side street and skidded to a stop in the middle of the main avenue.
Twenty seconds later, headlights flickered and engines roared in the distance. As the approaching car saw the one blocking the road, it screeched to a halt. The driver jumped out, instantly furious.
“Are you out of your mind? Chasing like a lunatic the whole time he yelled.
Lenore didn’t reply. She unbuckled her seatbelt, hopped out, and rolled up her sleeves as she walked over. Kicking the sports car, she said coldly, “Get out” She radiated menace and confidence, wild and unstoppable.

Before he could finish, Lenore landed a kick squarely in his stomach. “Shit,” he gasped, his back slamming against the car hood.
“Do you know who I am? You’re seriously asking for trouble. The man had never been treated like that before. Aher catching his breath, he swung a fist at the masked figure in front of him.
But before he could land a hit, Lenore caught his wrist with a grip like ice. With a sharp crack, she twisted it and followed up with a powerful kick to his chest, pinning him against the car and leaving him no chance to escape.
Ten minutes later, Ken arrived with Wayne and others. Silas stood tall and confident under the streetlight, radiating an air of nobility and detachment. Meanwhile, Lenore lounged on the hood of the red sports car, exuding pure dominance.
Nearby, the angry driver was crouching on the ground, hands over his head, trembling and mumbling, “It’s my fault. I’m sorry. I’ll never speed on the main streets again. No, I’ll never drive again.”
Ken and the others exchanged glances, surprised at the scene before them.
