His Untamed Savage Bride

Chapter 125
Galliam was implying something
Wayne’s eyes narrowed slightly. “You can relax about that. Because Gillian couldn’t win.
Gillum didn’t know what Wayne was thinking, but she didn’t believe him. She turned back to look at Silas as if she needed him to say something to be souwvinced.

Silas’s eyes were cold, anal his voice was sharp and direct. “No way,” he said. Lenore dalist need his protection for situations like this

Gillian stared at him for a moment before speaking to Lenore. “Let’s get started, she said.
Lemine slowly took off her backpack and passed it along with her thermos to Silas, saying, “Wait for me a moment.
Silactook it with a slight simile. “What do you want to eat later? I’ll have someone prepare it.
Lenore furrowed her brows and thought for a moment. “Ribs”
Silas nodded. “Okay” It felt like nobody else existed, so relaxed and indifferent.

Gillum gritted her teeth and said nothing more. She intended to show Mr. Faulkner how she could defeat Lenore herself.
It wasn’t an official competition venue, just a large circular track similar to a school playground.
The person acting as the referee came out to explain the rules. “Starting here, five laps. Whoever reaches the finish line first wine”
This location was somewhat distant from the stands, making it hard to hear what was being said.
Gillian held her helmet defiantly, no longer hiding her arrogant expression towards Lenore. “Ill add another condition. If you lose, stay away from Mr. Faulkner
Lenore thought, “What a messy love affair! She took the helmet from someone beside her and chuckled, “Then you might as well ask him to stay away from me,”
“You” Gillian clenched her fist, but with those two just watching coldly, she didn’t dare do anything drastic. She snorted, “If you lose, don’t go Liying to Mr. Faulkner!”
et and got into the car.
Lenore shrugged nonchalantly, a wicked smile on her lips as she casually put on her helmet:
As soon as the referee’s flag fell. Gillian floored it, zooming out first with a dark expression, saying, “If you want to beat me, try in your next life.”
Chuck looked around, noticing others in the club standing around casually, and muttered, “Why hasn’t anyone started the bet yet?”

Silas and Wayne both glanced at him, one with a piercing look and the other with a casual demeanor.
Chuck suddenly remembered his mistake while driving yesterday and was afraid been quit, ducking his head slightly and muttering shyly. “Bet on Ms. Smedley get rich overnight.” He just wanted to experience that thrill feeling
Silas was speechless.
Wayne kicked him and said. “I haven’t gotten rich overnight, and you think you can!”
It wasn’t that no bets were being placed; it was just that besides them, no one believed Lenore could beat Gillian. There were no surprises in the
Face Dutcome.
With a loud LooIE J Hur Way |
amar was heard as the car Gillian had left behind suddenly zipped past everyone’s view.
Cillian thought, ‘Can Lenore raver Her smug smile froze as she tightened her grip on the steering wheel, shifted to a higher gear, and moved to the right lane to block the car behind her.
Lenore squinted sligially, a mischievous grin on her lips. She executed a swift drifi, turning her car into a blur as it shot out from the left lane, overtaking Gillian by 119 feet in a flashy
“What?” “How is that possible? Two shocked voices echoed from the crowd.
Gillian’s expression became serious as slar grinte
gritted her teeth and sped up again. Just when it looked like she would catch up, the person in front suddenly accelerated, pulling to feet ahead.
It happened like this every time, Gillian was always just a little bit away from catching up, but she never quite succeeded. Now, in the final lap with less than 828 feet to go, Cillian’s expression grew increasingly strained,

Whoosh! The person in froast drifted to a stop at the finish line, and Gillian followed shortly after.
The referee, who had been watching closely, checked the time on his stopwatch. His expression was complicated and odd as he announced the results, “This young lady reached the finish line three seconds before Gillian”
Three seconds. It was just a three–second difference. But even a mere three–second gap meant Gillian lost.
“Gillian lost?”
“How is this possible?”
“Calvin, did you see it right?”
They thought, A professional race car driver who ev
even won a silver medal lost to an unknown girl? How is that possible!
