There was a new desk and chair in the back row. Lenore was tall and perfectly positioned to see the blackboard.
It’s by the window, Good spot, Lenore thought. She strolled over took her time hanging up her backpack, tossed her books. onto the desk, and casually pulled the chair out with her foot, With a graceful cross of her legs, she sat down.
Every movement she made was effortless and captivating. A relaxed, easygoing energy surrounded her, yet it somehow commanded respect. The entire class was glued to her, and the only sound was their quiet breathing.
Lance held his breath, sneaking glances back at her, feeling sorry for Kyle for skipping class and missing the chance to see their stunning new classmate.
Jonas taught biology. Normally, by this time, the noise level would be through the roof, but today was different
The room was so quiet that people could hear a pin drop. Even a few boys were raising their hands to ask questions- something that was practically unheard of in Class 24.

Although Lenore lounged casually against the wall during class, he was surprisingly attentive. She picked up her pen a few times, likely jotting down notes.
Jonas, observing her, thought, ‘She doesn’t seem as rebellious as the file suggested. Considering she skipped straight to Grade 12, he approached her sincerely. “Lenore, since you’re here at school, make sure to study hard. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask me.”
Lenore raised an eyebrow and flashed a cheeky grin. “Sure.”
‘She’s quite polite, Jonas thought and nodded in satisfaction.
After the second class, a photo of Lenore went viral on the school’s forums. In it, she was seated with her legs crossed, resting her chin on one hand, and writing with a pen.
She looked completely at ease, but her perfectly defined profile radiated an extraordinary beauty-as if the entire world. centered around her.
Students from Grades 10 and 11 flocked to Class 24, eager for a glimpse of the new “goddess.” The hallway buzzed with energy and excitement.
In Class 1, Esther couldn’t believe Lenore had gotten into Greenyine High School. Looking at the photo on the forum, she nearly tore the book in her hands apart, her eyes burning with jealousy.
Helen James, the girl next to Esther, noticed her strange mood and assumed it had to do with the rumors surrounding the new beauty. She said with disdain, “So what if she’s pretty? She’s still stuck in that lousy Class 24.”

At 6:30 PM, Ken stood at the entrance of Culinary Ascent, the best restaurant in Jinslenburg. He watched every car that passed by, his stern face betraying his nerves.
“Mr. Sharpe.” A voice broke through. Ken turned to see Troy approaching with a smile. “Are you waiting for your friends?” asked Troy.
Something flickered in Ken’s eyes and he simply replied, “Hmm, clearly uninterested in making conversation.
Troy thought, ‘Rumor has it that Ken used to be a regular police officer, but for reasons unknown, he transferred to the traffic police division.
Although Troy found Ken’s attitude annoying, he chose not to react. “Okay, Mr. Sharpe, you can keep waiting. We’ll go inside.” he said, trying to keep things light.
Troy’s elder sister, Rachel, came to Jinslenburg for business and Troy was hosting a welcome party at the restaurant. Esther, Darren, and Sharon were all attending

She was accompanied by her husband Stephen Yarwood, a slightly overweight, balding man who owned a large aquatic products business in Senanville. He had supported Troy in the past
Esther and Darren rushed over cheerfully and greeted them.
Rachel, who had no daughter of her own, was especially fond of her sweet, beautiful niece. She handed Esther a beautifully wrapped box. “I haven’t seen you in months; you’ve become ever more stunning.”
