At that moment, all I thought about was getting to Damon. When I saw the state he was in, my heart ached so badly, It almost felt like I was going to have a heart attack. How could someone be so cruel?
At that moment, I wanted nothing more than to torture Sebastian just as much as he had tortured Damon, if not more.
Damon shook his head at me, silently telling me to turn away and run in the opposite direction but that just fueled me with more adrenaline. I needed to get to him, he needed me.
I could see it in his eyes.
“Kill every last one of them” Sebastian ordered loudly and immediately, his allies and men came charging at us.
Some tried attacking me but luckily, I still remembered how to fight and damn, did it finally feel good to be on the battlefield again.
“Clara, stay near me” Liam yelled from a distance as he fought off the Lycans and since I was getting tired, I listened and stayed close to him while still fighting as much as I could.
I wasn’t going to last, I could feel it. My hand instinctively reached for my stomach and I let out a shaky breath. I needed to protect them but I also needed to get to Damon.
I looked around and everyone was fighting for their lives. Some of our people had died and so had some of Sebastian’s men. “Luca, get Clara out of here” Damon yelled from a distance while still on his knees. He must have noticed I was getting weaker. Luca immediately turned towards me and came charging towards me but I couldn’t leave, I wasn’t going to leave without Damon. “Shut up” Sebastian said to Damon before punching him hard across the face.
Damon fell to the ground and coughed out blood instantly before letting out a loud groan. I clenched my fist as I glared at Sebastian. Even if I died today, I was going to make sure I repaid Sebastian for the pain he put Damon through.
Without thinking thoroughly about it, I ran towards Sebastian with a knife in hand.
“Don’t you dare hurt my husband, you monster!” I screamed.
“Clara, stay back!” Damon yelled and I could hear the others yelling my name but at that moment, all I could see was red. I wanted to spill blood, Sebastian’s blood.
I was able to fight my way through to get to Sebastian and was about to stab him in the abdomen when he grabbed my hand and twisted it.
I let out a pain filled scream while the knife fell from my hand. He then grabbed me by the neck and lifted me off the ground easily while I struggled to breath while trying to pry his hand off my neck.
I scratched at any part of his body I could reach but that didn’t seem to have any effect on him. As a matter of fact, his wound healed before I could even blink.
“I don’t know if I should call you brave or foolish. Even if I wasn’t immortal, do you think a mere shewolf like you can kill me?” He questioned and I glared at him.
“I will kill you!” I screamed in his face even though I felt like I was going to pass out at any second.
“Don’t you dare hurt her!” Damon yelled from beside us and a chill ran down my spine when I felt his murderous Aura. I had never felt that before. Sebastian didn’t seem to be affected by it and even if he was, he wasn’t showing it in the slightest.
“Or what? I really like to see what you can do” Sebastian said as he turned to Damon.
“I’m warning you, Sebastian” Damon muttered through clenched teeth and Sebastian tilted his head at him before abruptly letting go on my neck.
I fell to my feet as I coughed and gasped for air at the same time when suddenly, he slapped me hard across the face.
I fell to the ground instantly, spitting out blood.
“Clara!” Damon yelled as Sebastian grabbed me for the ground and continuously slapped me across the face.
“What exactly can you do Damon!” Sebastian yelled then laughed like a maniac as he continued slapping me when suddenly, Damon howled out in anger and broke out of his chain.NôvelDrama.Org owns this.
In a blink of an eye, he was beside Sebastian and I. He grabbed Sebastian by the neck and easily flinged him away from me.
Sebastian flew towards a tree, hitting his back hard against it before he fell to the ground.
“Are you okay my love?” Damon questioned with worry in his voice as he touched my cheek as gently as he could.
I winced slightly then forced a smile on my face but it hurt to smile so it came out more like a grimace.
“I’m just glad you’re okay” I murmured as I caressed his face but the murderous Aura he was emanating hadn’t dissipated.
“Stay hidden and if possible, close your eyes. I don’t want you
witnessing just how gruesome I can be” He murmured and I frowned, not because of his words but because I could see he was still in a

He could barely keep one eye open.
“Aim for his abdomen” I told him and he nodded slowly with a knowing look on his face.
“Be careful” He uttered before rushing towards Sebastian who was charging towards us and despite his state, Damon was able to fight off Sebastian.
He continuously aimed for Sebastian’s abdomen and it looked like it was having a great effect on Sebastian. So that really was where his weak spot was?
Damon fought like a beast. If he was
fighting any other person, they would have been dead by now but Sebastian’s wound healed in a blink of an eye but nevertheless, it did seem like Damon was winning despite his condition.
It made me wonder just how strong Damon was because this was obviously not his full potential.
I looked around and a smile appeared on my face. I could see many of our men were still fighting relentlessly. Though some were injured, we had managed to out number Sebastian’s side.
Were we going to win?
A gasp escaped my lips when somebody suddenly grabbed me by the neck and pressed a knife against my neck.
“I’m going to advice all of you to
surrender if you don’t want Clara to be killed. The same goes for you, Damon. Let Sebastian go” A gasp escaped my lips when I recognized the voice.
