Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) – Chapter 914

Chasing My Pregnant Wife

The gentle morning sunlight filtered through the room’s window and shone softly on Vincent’s pale face.

He awakened from his slumber, opening his eyes as his consciousness gradually became clear. Turning his head, he saw Rosalie sitting in a chair, her slender figure delicate and small.

She was asleep, seemingly having stayed by his side and taking care of him the entire night. There was a faint blush on the tip of her nose, and she was enveloped in soft morning light.

Vincent parted his lips, wanting to wake her, but his gaze was involuntarily fixed on her, and he swallowed the words he was about to say.

Her long hair cascaded softly over her shoulders like feathers dancing in the air. The sunlight streamed through the window, caressing her smooth skin. She seemed to be draped in a layer of delicate golden silk, making her features appear even more tender and enchanting.

Her brows were slightly furrowed, as if she encountered confusion in her dreams. Sunlight filtered through her eyelashes, forming specks of light that flickered like stars.

Before he passed out last night, he had asked her name, and she told him she was called Rosalie Young.

Her name also contained the word Young.

Vincent sat up in bed. He leaned against the headboard and glanced down at the wounds on his body.

His body was clean. Someone had cleaned him. Did she do this? This woman was quite gentle and kind.

Rosalie, he called out her name.

Hearing his voice, Rosalie opened her eyes and awoke. She was surprised and delighted to find Vincent sitting by the bed.

You’re awake! How do you feel?

She had been quite worried he might not wake up, so she had been watching over him, occasionally checking his breathing until dawn broke, when she finally dozed off in the chair for a short while.

You’ve been here the whole time? Vincent noticed her face appeared a bit haggard. She had stayed up all night.

Rosalie tugged at the corners of her mouth. I’m glad you’re okay.

There’s an empty room next door. You should go get some rest. S~ᴇaʀᴄh the (F)indNƟvᴇl.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

Rosalie replied, It’s fine, I…

Before she could finish her sentence, she yawned. She quickly covered her mouth with her hand, a hint of embarrassment flashing in her eyes.

Bret

Vincent replied bluntly, Rosalie, don’t be stubborn for no reason. you’re tired, just go to sleep. There’s

no need to pretend. Aren’t you tired?

His straightforward words made Rosalie feel a bit awkward, but he was indeed speaking the truth.

She stood up and said, Alright, I’ll take a nap. If you need anything, just call me.

Vincent simply said, Okay.

Rosalie staggered as she walked out of the room.

She hadn’t slept well for several nights, and coupled with not sleeping at all last night, she was

now exceedingly tired. She could et

barely keep her eyes open. If she didn’t catch up on some sleep soon, she wouldn’t even be able to stand.

After sitting in the chair for so long, Rosalie felt sore all over. She massaged her shoulders as she walked.

The room next door was clean and tidy, with a soft bed. As soon as Rosalie lay down, she sank into the sheets and fell asleep.

Over an hour later, Vincent emerged from the bathroom, awakened by the ringing of a phone on the bedside table.

He walked over to pick up the phone, only to discover it was Rosalie’s.

Just as he was about to head next door to give it to her, he noticed the caller ID read Sebastian.

This was clearly a man’s name. Who was he to her?

The phone continued ringing until it eventually hung up automatically.

He had just set the phone down when Sebastian called again.

Vincent placed the phone back on the bedside table. Crossing his arms, he stared at the screen.

The second call went unanswered and also hung up automatically.

Soon after, the man named Sebastian sent a text message. [Honey, are you coming back today? The baby misses you.]
