wheelchair to a small garden in the hospital. The sky was turning dark as the sun slowly disappeared from the horizon.
Yvonne and Rosalie reached the pond.
Rosalie took in the fresh air, feeling revitalized by the minute. At the very least, she didn’t feel as suffocated as she did in the ward.
Yvonne brought a sweater along, and draped it over Rosalie’s lap. Rose, what’s with Seb and that Yerick Zeller? Did they make you angry?
Rosalie chuckled helplessly. I’m not
really mad, but the two of them are beyond immature. They got jealous and were vying for my attention by pretending to have a headache and pretending to bite his own tongue. They’re just like children, so made them lie in bed to teach them a lesson.
Yvonne burst out laughing. I didn’t expect Seb to be so childish! He was never like this in the past.
Yeah. Perhaps it’s because of his memory loss.
You should teach them a lesson, alright. Don’t let them get used to this.
I’m not really that angry. If it were in the past, might have found it fun But now, my head’s in a mess, & wanted to visit Theo, but I can’t, Rosalie said.
Yvonne crouched down and said, After your operation and after you recover from it, you can visit him. There’s no rush.
But I want to hear his voice. I can’t reach him by his phone. I’m sure he hates me to the core right now.
The morose look on Rosalie’s face made Yvonne feel upset. Don’t say that! It’s not your fault. You really shouldn’t blame yourself.
