Sebastian’s brows furrowed as irritation built up inside him. He wasn’t irritated with Rosalie, but with her overwhelming concern for Theodore’s life and death. It made him very uncomfortable.

Rosalie couldn’t help but feel disappointed by Sebastian; she made a move to leave, her heart broken.

Sebastian gritted his teeth as anger boiled in his heart. He took a deep breath, and suppressed the rage inside him. Rose, it’s my fault, he said slowly.

Sebastian’s words made Rosalie’s heart race. She grabbed his collar, and asked, Where is he? How is he?
The concern on Rosalie’s face told Sebastian that she wouldn’t let up until she saw Theodore.
‘Might as well, Sebastian thought. Theodore was probably already dead. Rosalie would be heartbroken when she’s saw him, but if he lied to her that Theodore had gone back, she would eventually find out the truth and blame him for lying to her.
He would rather just tell her the truth right now and take her to see Theodore’s corpse. That would be all that was left of him, anyway. Theodore was killed by the abductor, who shot him in the chest with an arrow. It was none of his business.

Sebastian grabbed Rosalie’s wrist, and left. He then drove Rosalie to the place where Theodore got injured.
Rosalie cried throughout the entire journey. She immediately rushed toward the dilapidated building the moment the car ground to a halt.
