Rosalie despised him, cursed him, yet at this moment, she uttered the word “laughable”—and that infuriated Sebastian more than anything else.
“I’m laughable?” Sebastian laughed and stood up, gripping the bloodstained dagger in his hand. “Rosalie, I’ve sacrificed so much for you, and in the end, all I get in return is the word ‘laughable’?”
Rosalie no longer had the strength to argue with this madman. She turned her head away, refusing to look at him.
Sebastian’s hand trembled as he gripped the hilt of the dagger. “Good. Very good.”
He walked to the bed and unshackled her handcuffs.
Rosalie was still weak. She barely managed to push herself up from the bed. She wanted to rush to Justin’s side, but before she could, Sebastian grabbed her and held her in his arms.
“Let go of me! Let me go!” she yelled.
“What’s wrong? Weren’t you the one who claimed to fear nothing?”
“Sebastian, after everything, what more do you want? My life is worthless now-if you have the guts, just kill me!”
All she wanted now was death-to be with Justin.
“I won’t kill you. I’ll cherish you. But if anyone dares to come near you, I’ll kill them.”
Sebastian carried Rosalie into the bathroom. The bathtub was already filled with hot water. Without hesitation, he threw her into it.
Rosalie struggled to get out, but Sebastian climbed into the bathtub and held her down.
“Rosalie, you’d better behave yourself. Do you know? I have two wolves, and they love eating human flesh. Do you want me to feed Justin to them, leaving not even a bone behind? He’ll never be able to rest in peace-how pitiful.”
Rosalie clenched her teeth tightly. “He’s already dead. What’s the point of taking your anger out on him?”
“It means a lot to me.”
He grabbed her by the throat-not with force, but the gesture itself was terrifying. “Rose, I love you so much, yet this is how you treat me? Then I have no choice but to make you suffer.”
His eyes were filled with a bloodthirsty hatred.
She turned her head away, but he forcefully turned it back and kissed her lips.
After the bath, Sebastian carried Rosalie out of the bathroom.
Justin’s body was gone. The bloodstained carpet had been removed, leaving only the bare floor behind. There wasn’t even a trace of the scent of blood, as if nothing had ever happened. swnovel
Sebastian threw Rosalie onto the bed. She immediately sat up, grabbing the
blanket to wrap around herself. She glared at him with hatred.
“What’s the point of covering yourself now? You’re already mine.”
He had touched every inch of her.
“Where did you take Justin? Did you really feed him to the wolves?” Rosalie’s voice trembled as she asked, her eyes red.
“Worried about him?” Sebastian sat on the edge of the bed. “Weren’t you acting indifferent just now? He’s already a corpse-no matter what I do to him, he won’t feel a thing, right?” swnovel
Rosalie raised her hand and struck him across the face, but because of the effects of the drug and the torment he had put her through for so long, she was too weak tohit him with any real force. ‘swnovel
Yet, the fury in her was undiminished.
Sebastian touched his face and let out a cold laugh, then grabbed her wrist and pinned her down on the bed.
“Rosalie, I’m talking to you nicely, but you just won’t listen. Do you insist on making me treat you roughly before you’ll be satisfied?”
His gaze landed on the wounds on her wrists, and for a moment, something
flickered in his eyes. He lifted her hand and kissed the injury.
Rosalie struggled, but it was useless.
Sebastian sighed. “If you’d just be obedient, I wouldn’t have to treat you this way.”
Rosalie spat in his face.
Sebastian let out another cold laugh. Slowly, he wiped it off and chuckled.
“Such a feisty little thing.”
