Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore) – Chapter 1358

Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Noah was not usually a friendly person. Those who arrived late or left early would get scolded, let alone someone who skipped work without reason.

Rosalie looked at him with confusion.

“Rosalie, don’t be so tense. I want to create a more relaxed work environment. Besides, I’ve noticed how dedicated and diligent you are. You’re a rare talent.”

Noah’s words were not just flattery; there was sincerity in them. Rosalie’s financial articles were indeed impressive, with clear and logical analysis. Her insights were professional and precise, even making predictions that later came true.

“Rose, if you ever have any questions, feel free to ask me.”

Rosalie nodded. “Alright. Thank you.”

After Noah returned to his office, Rosalie was still puzzled.

A colleague beside her whispered, “Yesterday, there was a helicopter picking you up. Who was it?”

Rosalie frowned. “No one.”

Yesterday, she had snuck onto the balcony, thinking that as long as no one saw her board the helicopter, they wouldn’t know who was inside. But apparently, she had still been caught.

“I didn’t expect you to be so low-key. Is your family rich? A helicopter came and picked you up!” Sᴇaʀch Thᴇ (F)indNƟvᴇl.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

In Blencalgo, airspace was strictly controlled. Private helicopters could not fly freely over public airspace in the city. Even wealthy individuals who owned helicopters found it extremely difficult to obtain flight clearance without strong connections and undergoing rigorous approvals.

This meant that the person who had sent a helicopter for Rosalie was not just wealthy, but someone with significant influence.

“I’m just here to work, like everyone else,” Rosalie said.

“That was true before,” the colleague replied. “But after that helicopter came for you, things changed.”

Rosalie had always been humble at work, so everyone had assumed she was just an ordinary person. No one expected her to be a privileged young lady experiencing a commoner’s life.

She felt a little embarrassed. The helicopter wasn’t hers, but Theodore’s. She had nothing to do with the power and wealth he had.

While waiting for Rosalie, Justin went to a cafe, ordered a coffee and some pastries, and sat by the window. He watched as the people passed by outside.

His mood was particularly light, as if he were in a dream-one that was blissful and surreal.

He smiled to himself. Rosalie had said she loved him.

He kept replaying those words in his mind, and the more he thought about them, the sweeter they felt.

So, it wasn’t just his imagination. Rosalie truly loved him.

He loved her just as much.

In the reflection of the cafe’s floor-to-ceiling window, a figure suddenly appeared, seemingly watching him.

Justin’s instincts were sharp. Having

lived on the edge for years, he immediately sensed something was off. He turned his head quickly, only to see the person hastily walking away.

Without hesitation, Justin got up and gave chase.

Time passed quickly, and soon it was 5.30 PM.

Because she had skipped work for over an hour, Rosalie had some unfinished tasks, so she stayed to finish them. By the time she finally left, it was already past 6 PMD

She eagerly arrived at the hotel and went straight to Justin’s room. She pressed the doorbell, but after ringing for a long time, there was no response from inside.

A sense of unease crept over her.

She pressed on the doorbell harder. “Justin, are you there?”

Before leaving, she had made him promise to stay in the hotel and wait for her until she got off work. He had agreed, so why wasn’t he answering now?

Rosalie took out her phone and called Justin, but no one picked up.

Did he leave?

Her heart tightened, and her eyes turned red with worry. She immediately rushed downstairs to the front desk to inquire.
