Theodore had always heeded Rosalie’s words. He instructed the bodyguards to stand guard at the door of the ward, and the four of them went to the lounge.
They found an empty table, sat down, and quietly ate their breakfast. Both Theodore and Rosalie appeared visibly downcast.
Aurora glanced at the two of them and tried to comfort them. Grandma will be fine. She’s such a kind person, and kind people are always blessed. Yes, that’s right, Angie echoed. She’ll be fine.

Exactly, Angie added. There’s nothing more important right now than Grandma.
Theodore had no energy to argue with them. Suit yourselves, then.
Seeing Theodore’s reluctance to talk to her, Aurora felt both frustrated and disheartened. He was probably using this opportunity to get closer to Rosalie again.

Theodore didn’t say much more. He had lost his appetite and couldn’t focus on breakfast.
