Rosalie pushed Theodore’s hand away. In that case, I must know what happened.’
Since Theodore got his hands on the so-called evidence and laid it right before her, there was no reason for her not to watch it. A few minutes wouldn’t make a difference.
Rosalie took the initiative to play the video.
She sat quietly before the laptop, her eyes fixed on the video playing on the screen.
The originally calm expression on her face slowly grew solemn, then turned into shock and disbelief.
She couldn’t believe that the man she once trusted so much could be capable of something so cruel.
In the video, Sebastian broke into Theodore’s house with a bunch of armed men.
After they entered, they scoured the place for surveillance cameras and damaged whatever they could find.
When Theodore and Aurora came back, they intercepted them and ruthlessly threatened them with their lives. They pointed their guns at Theodore, the vicious look in their eyes filled with ruthless cruelty.
Sebastian pointed his gun mercilessly at Theodore, prepared to pull the trigger and take his life.
Rosalie’s face froze as her eyes filled with shock and disbelief.
She couldn’t believe the man who had been by her side at her lowest and most miserable had become someone so cruel and heartless.
Her heart shook and she felt as though she was hit by a huge storm. Anger, shock and hopelessness grew into a chaotic and agonizing vortex inside her.
She couldn’t understand and couldn’t accept this.
Sebastian pointed a gun at Theodore and forced him to kneel. At the final moment, Theodore snatched the gun away from Sebastian’s hand.
The tables were clearly turned.
The bodyguards retreated and Theodore proceeded to beat Sebastian up.
Theodore was furious, but he ended up not killing Sebastian even though he snatched his gun from him.
He then chased Sebastian out.
Every word of their conversation was captured clearly in the video.
‘Sebastian Carter, what happened to Rose is the most important. She’s missing. I will do all I can to find her. If you don’t want anything untoward to happen to her, you’d better go find her. Don’t waste your time on me.

Tears welled up in Rosalie’s eyes. Her lips trembled, but no words came out.
She instinctively covered her mouth with a hand to stop herself from expressing the overwhelming sorrow and misery she was feeling inside.
She felt as though she had fallen into a deep, dark pit. Her heart was tom into a million pieces.
The trust she had for Sebastian and the beautiful memories they shared shattered right before her like an
exquisite hand-drawn painting that was torn apart, leaving behind only cruel reality.
Rosalie could feel her energy fading and she almost couldn’t support her own weight.
Her mind was in a mess and all she could feel was pain and endless disappointment and hopelessness in her heart.
She tried to find something to cling on to, to find a ray of hope amidst the darkness.
Seb, why did you do that? Why did you lie to me?
She had once unconditionally trusted Sebastian, yet this was how things turned out.
Her trust was nearly indestructible, but reality cruelly pulled her out of her illusions and shoved her harshly into the eye of the storm.
