Learn to quit while you’re ahead!” Jim had kept her safe for many years. He was not just a friend but more like family to Bonnie. However, Shane had asked the man she loved to put her family in harm’s way.
‘That’s it! Shane’s dead!’ Shane gazed at Bonnie and smiled coldly. He questioned, “What are you talking about, Bonnie? I’m doing this for you and your beloved. Sacrificing Jim will save both of your lives. Don’t you think it’s a good deal?” Bonnie sneered. “Damn you, you crazy old fart. Your thas come!” Immediately after, she dashed toward Shane and slapped him before anyone could react. She did not hold back, either. She struck him so hard that he almost blacked out.
