Arwen rolled her eyes, opening her mouth, ready to retort. But before she could, Gianna raised her hand, stopping her.

Because to me, he has been nothing but kind, Arwen answered with a smile. He treated me like no one ever did. He treated me like me —without any conditions, without any expectations. So, to me, he is the kindest of all.
