Chapter 130
Darius POV
Seven years later
“Good morning Daddy,” My daughter, Layla walked down the stairs grudgingly. She had her glasses on and was dragging her bag behind her back. Her hair was hardly parked in style.
“Ready for school, Princess?” I asked her. She shook her head.
“I don’t want to go to school Can’t
I just stay at home, sleep, and maybe watch TV?
She cried.
“Are you being bullied in school?” I asked worriedly.
“No, Uncle Daddy, She just hates school, Brianna walked in through the front door, looking sharp in her uniform. She was a spitting image of Brittany and the resemblance was so canny it was scary.
“Morning, cupcake. How was the holiday?”
She rushed to hug me and told me she missed us.
She’d gone to spend her holiday at Mason’s pack together with her dad. She and Layla had missed each other terribly well. They talked on the phone all through the holidays and couldn’t wait to see each other again. Although she was younger than my twin, she was still their aunt. Also, she acts so mature for her age.
My daughter dragged her out of my arms and hugged her tightly.
“Tve missed you, sister. You’re the best thing in this pack,”
Her brother smacked her head as he walked down the stairs as well.
“You fool!” She yelled.
“Language, Layla,” I cautioned.
“Sorry Daddy but he started it,” she stuck her tongue out at him instead and he glared at her.
My daughter was a spitting image of me and Liam, my son looked exactly like Angela but acted more like me.
“Hey Brianna, the holiday was good, right?” Liam asked.
“Yes, brother. I enjoyed the place. You and Layla should come with me next time,”
He cocked an eyebrow. “I’ll think about it,”
He answered meticulously. He carefully picked up a piece of bread and an apple from the table.
“I’m off to school, dad,”
“Wait for your sisters and go with them.”
He groaned at first but dropped his bag and sat in front of the Ty
“Morning, mama,” Liam said just as Angela also came in.

Chapter 130
“Hey, baby, she kissed him in his temple and he nagged about it before Angela came over to me
“My big baby,” she buttered me up. I kissed her and heard an echo of ‘ewww‘ from the children.
“Aren’t you guys late for school? Angela asked.
“I’m waiting for them, Liam answered.
“We’ll soon be done with breakfast,”
“Okay, babes,”
Ten minutes later, after a lot of murmuring and complaints from Liam, the girls were finally ready to leave for school.
“Ready to go?”
I gave the girls their lunch boxes and gave my son some money. He’d stopped collecting lunch boxes from us.
Liam has also been receiving some training so he could take over the pack once he’s eighteen or twenty. Although he’s always trying to convince me he was ready to become the Alpha even though he was only twelve.
He was interested in the pack’s affairs even before I got him involved. My daughter, on the other hand, said she would rather chew through walls than take any training on how to lead pack. She wasn’t really interested in that. The only thing she was interested in was traveling around the world.
I wasn’t going to stop her in any way. She had her wings already, I’ll just be the wind beneath them.
“See you later, Reina,” my son whispered to the picture of Reina that was on the wall before he walked out. I turned and smiled as he walked out behind his sisters. I frowned. That was weird.
“He acts just like an adult”
Angela commented.
I know right? He acts just like me,”
“Exactly like you,”
Suddenly, Azalea barged into the house without knocking.
“What’s with the urgency? What’s the matter?”
“The werewolf King is on the call,”
His hand was shaking as he gave me the phone. It wasn’t the first time I would be receiving a call from the werewolf king, so what was with his reaction?
We’ve had meetings with the King quite a few times over the past few years on the affairs of the werewolf world. Why was Azalea acting this way?
I blocked the speaker so the King wouldn’t hear what I wanted to say next.
“Why are you shaking?”
He thinks he found Reina
My eyes went wide. I’ve discussed Reina with the King quite a few times and he has her picture and a sketch that Angela and Mason made of what she would look like in the present time

I put the phone on loudspeaker so Angela could listen as well.
“Your Highness,”
There was a bit of silence on the other end of the line. “I thought you weren’t interested in talking to me anymore.”

We had a disagreement at the last meeting. He’d always enforced a rule on Rogues and all of a sudden, he changed those rules to accommodate Rogues. It was only recently we found out that one of the rogues who’d risen to fame within the past few years was his son.
His only son!
“You called me, your highness. I have to talk to you,”
“I witnessed something and I decided to share it with you, hoping it’ll help in your search for your daughter,”
“Do you want me to come over to the palace right now?”
“No, I’m not in the palace. A few days ago, I came to visit my son in his rogue pack. I’m sure the news of my son leading a revolutionary pack isn’t news to you,”
I gritted my teeth.
“Yes, Your Highness,”

“Good! There are two girls in this pack who reminded me of you. If they were men. I would’ve called them assholes and condescending bastards just like you. You three share that similarity. Especially one of them, she has no regard whatsoever
shattered. for me or anyone despite my position, and that reminded me of you. They came into this pack two moons ago broken, and traumatized but they still have strong will.
After investigating. I realized one of them paints while the other can draw. They both have a tattoo which is similar to a birthmark. They have the same hair type similar to that of your wife but one of them, that same one that reminded me of you the most has that evil smile of yours and especially that glare.”
I knew within me that it was Reina. One of them was definitely my daughter. Angela was in tears already and I was lost for
words.
“What do you think, Alpha Darius? Which one of them is your daughter? I hope it’s not the one mated to my crazy son. Seeing his rebellious face once in a while is enough, I don’t want to become your in–law and see yours regularly either,”
Then he laughed. All he had just said didn’t make sense to me. The fact that he took his time to study both girls before calling me showed he had a degree of confirmation that either one of them was
mine.
“I don’t know what to say, your highness,”
“They’re both nineteen but I remember you said your daughter is supposed to be eighteen this year. I’m sure there was a mistake of age at some point,”
His words gave me hope. My daughter was back finally. I would get to hold her in my arms again. My family would be completed.
“Jokes aside, Darius, I hope it isn’t your daughter mated to my son. You’ve heard of Ryker and so many other rogue kings who are crazy but you haven’t heard of my son, the rogue god of Luporia. I wouldn’t even wish my greatest enemy to be mated to that asshole,”
Whatever it was destiny and fate would fix it.
Chapter 130
Regardless of whoever her–mate was, I’m glad she was back home to me again.
I hugged Angela tightly and Azalea hugged us both. He’d seen our struggles through the years. For twelve years, our daughter was gone, but now, she is back and our story will continue from where it ended.
