Not long after, a woman holding a child stepped out of the car. Chandra frowned slightly. She suddenly remembered that before she kidnapped Sydney, she had seen Sydney meet this man and woman at the restaurant.
It was them.
Chandra immediately opened the car door and stepped out. She walked up to the two of them, asking, What are you two trying to do?
Rosalie, seeing who had stepped out of the car, was taken aback. It’s you?
It was the same woman who had been with Sydney at the restaurant. Sydney had claimed she was a banking client, but soon after, Sydney had disappeared.
Ma’am, please get back in the car and wait, the driver quickly said. I’ll handle this. We’ll be on our way soon.
Chandra glared coldly at Rosalie and Justin. You deliberately hit my car. What do you want?

Chandra’s expression remained cold.
I’ll let you off this time. She turned to the driver. Let’s go. Forget about it.
With that, she pulled her daughter back to the car.
Rosalie tugged lightly on Justin’s sleeve. Let’s go too. It’s not a big deal.
Neither side lacked money, and neither wanted the hassle. In the end, both parties acted as though nothing had happened and returned to their cars.
