How could a man so wilful be the father of her child?
Rosalie’s assessment of him made Theodore laugh out loud. Yes, I’m that wilful. Say whatever you want to say.
Rosalie shut her eyes and took a deep breath, trying her best to suppress the anger rising in her chest.
She then opened her eyes and said, Theo, I’ll accompany you for your biopsy tomorrow morning. You must get your results tomorrow no matter what. I’ll see you tomorrow at nine.
With that, she turned to leave.
I don’t need you accompanying me! Theodore yelled after her retreating figure. Why are you still helping me? Is it because you now know that Aurora isn’t pregnant and think things are still possible between us?
Theodore’s words sounded sarcastic, but it was in fact what he wanted to know. Would Rosalie not be so resolute after finding out that Aurora wasn’t pregnant?
Rosalie turned around.
Whether Aurora is pregnant or not, what difference does it make? She’s your woman, and I’m married to Sebastian. Don’t harbor any more hopes. I’m going with you to your biopsy tomorrow not for your sake, but for Grandma’s. You’re her only grandson, and I don’t want you to disappoint her. You need to return home eventually. You can’t just let her down so wilfully.
With that, Rosalie gripped her bag and left.
Emotions roiled within her, but she no longer felt like crying. The day Theodore asked for a divorce, she was all spent of her tears. The love she had for him was slowly shaved away amidst everything that happened.
And now, Theodore had Aurora.
Whether Aurora was pregnant or not, Rosalie would no longer hold out hope.
Theodore had initially only betrayed her emotionally. Yet now, he had given himself physically and completely to another woman.
She, on the other hand, had never consummated her marriage with Sebastian. Their marriage was only in name. Rosalie couldn’t find it in herself to sleep with another man aside from Theodore.
Theodore claimed to love her and looked so affectionate as he said so, yet at the next moment, he turned around and slept with another woman. His love was cheap and fickle-minded. He was such an amorous man!
His love didn’t belong to Rosalie alone. Rather, he was capable of giving it to another woman anytime. He could even love a few women at the same time and sleep with all of them.
When Rosalie used to love Theodore, she loved him and only him. She tolerated all he did to the point of turning a blind eye to his flaws.
But now, things were different. They were divorced, and she could see the situation more clearly now. That made it easier for her to let go of things.
Cynthia wasn’t the only reason for
their divorce.It was also because of Theodore’s indecisiveness,
hesitation, and wilful doubting. Even
after they were divorced, he
continued doubting her and
completely ignored the fact that she
was now single after their divorce.
In his eyes, despite their divorce, she was still his and was forever tied to him.
The truth was, she was a person-an individual who no longer belonged to him after their divorce.
Rosalie didn’t blame Theodore for having Aurora. They were divorced, and he had every right to find another woman for himself. She was divorced too, and had the freedom to decide to marry
Sebastian or some other novel

Since Theodore had found Aurora, he really shouldn’t be harassing her and should be responsible for Aurora instead.
