Rosalie grew more shaken the more she listened.

Still, Sebastian’s kindness sometimes felt almost too good to be true.
As Rosalie mulled it over, she concluded that she was overthinking. Nothing seemed to please her-good or bad. Perhaps she was simply too difficult to satisfy.
Seeing the conflicted expression on Rosalie’s face, Justin seemed to guess what was on her mind.
Rosalie, he said, trust your intuition.
Hearing the words intuition, Rosalie fell into silence. Should she trust her intuition? Sometimes, she couldn’t
trust herself entirely either. She’ always worried about others feelings.
You’re supposed to be going to classes, right? he asked. I overheard you and Sebastian talking at the door.
Rosalie nodded. Yes. I’m here as part of a graduate exchange program, but I’ve taken a leave of absence.
