“Don’t worry,” the fan reassured with a nod. “Such a small task? Of course, I did.” “Great!”
Karol handed her an envelope full of cash. “Here’s ten thousand, take it.”
“Thanks.” The fan counted the money meticulously in front of Karol, nodding in satisfaction. “Perfect, thanks!”
After pocketing the envelope, she turned to leave.
“Hey!”
Karol stopped her, his expression grave. “Remember, after taking the
