Terrence was so scared that he nearly fell to his knees as his legs trembled uncontrollably. “Mr. Lane, please don’t be angry. How could I ever harm my own sister? I’ll immediately withdraw the lawsuit.” It wasn’t until Xavier’s car drove away that Terrence finally breathed a sigh of relief. He no longer dared to boast and knew that the free eight billion was out of his reach. He couldn’t believe that Xavier, who used to dislike Yvette the most, was now standing up for her.

Seeing this, Mark ordered his men to buy some food. Soon, a huge pile of food was delivered to the car. Zachary didn’t even glance at it; he closed his eyes and leaned back in his seat to rest.
Mark soon opened a box of mini pies. Their aroma filled the air. “Are you sure you don’t want to eat?” he asked again.
Zachary smelled the food but remained unmoved. “Hmph, I never eat in the car.”
Seeing his haughty demeanor, Mark thought Zachary resembled Xavier even more.
“When will you let me go? Are you going to keep me in the car forever?” Zachary asked.
“Mr. Lane will make the
arrangements when he comes
back,” Mark replied. He paused, then
added, “I don’t know when he’ll be
back. If you don’t eat something
now, don’t cry when you get hungry
later.” .
